•Extent of the Investment
Our organization is designed to enable us to deliver the cost, capability and overall financial performance to be the Benchmark and to meet customers’ needs. In order to accomplish this, there is funding needed in order to mass-produce, advertise, and sell the product. From our initial calculations, our first year needs are $1,985,536. In order to sustain growth in not only the company, but the product as well, an additional $3,000,000 is needed to rent office space, pay employees, produce the product, sell the product, and market ourselves globally. Therefore, the extent of the investment we are looking for is 5 million dollars, either in one lump some, or preferable, over the coarse of 4 or 5 years (SEE financial planning for details).
•Principal Milestones to be Achieved
Our goal is to become the world’s largest provider in the industry of musical tuners (not only guitar).
We have seen an enormous growth in this industry and have found the technology accessible to create a new breed of tuners.
•Target Market
The target market is not the beginning musician who is only willing to pay $100 for an analog tuner. We intend to capture the advanced/professional musician market. One who is looking for the best, most accurate tuner available.
•Summary of Financial Metrics
Our goal is to start making a profit in our 3rd year of development of this product. Our market analysts believe that after two years, the market growth and revenue will pick up substantially. Once the new technology is correlated to the product, a new demand will grow for the product’s accuracy. As a newly established corporation, we feel that with the aid from ASC Capital, we will be able to corner the market for digital guitar tuners (SEE Financial Plan Main Points).

Once a profit is made from the product there are two options for ASC Capital to receive revenue. Profit Sharing or Stock options are the two choices that can be negotiated between KJESC and ASC Capital (SEE financial Planning).
•Why Should ASC Capital Invest
KJSEC believes that technology has enabled electronic tuning devices to become more accurate than ever. It is at this point; KJSEC realizes the importance of capturing the market at the beginning stages of this new technology. There is no other tuner out on the market that can offer all of the options that our tuner offers (SEE Description and Use of Technology).

•Background/History of the Business
Keep Jammin Enterprises Systems Corporation was founded in 1998 by current CEO Daniel Engheben. Engheben’s first product is the anti-feedback amplifier –a device to eliminate feedback on a guitar amplifier. This product’s ingenuity followed Engheben through both his undergraduate and graduate years at Columbia University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
After completing his Master’s Degree Program, Engheben moved his headquarters to Honolulu, Hawaii were a fellow business associate, William Stefanko, owned a laboratory and an office building that was suitable for Keep Jammin Enterprises Systems Corporation.
Now that the company had established itself in a state-of-the-art laboratory, KJESC was ready to begin development of numerous break-through audio and visual electronics.

KJESC always aims to protect all of its intellectual property. The company has a department created solely for completing the process of receiving a patent and verifying that no other current products on the market are infringing any of our patents. This same department is also known as our “think-tank” where our staff of highly innovative employees uses our state-of-the-art laboratories to improve other KJESC products or to use new technology to achieve the once-thought impossibilities in the audio and visual electronics markets.
•Uses of Our Technology
KJESC aims to produce products for both the consumer markets and commercial use. To be more expense efficient, KJESC has found that many products created for commercial use can be modified for consumer use as well. Recently, KJESC announced its latest innovation, the VR-2001 and VR-2001A. This line of products has been met with great demand by the security industry. The VR-2001 is a technologically advanced voice recognition security system. A sophisticated piece of circuitry, the VR-2001 recognizes the voice of authorized personnel and can “learn” new voices. Unlike other similar devices out on the market, the VR-2001 is the most accurate voice recognition system since it uses its “5-point security check.” While the VR-2001 has its greatest demand in the commercial security market, the VR-2001A is focused at the consumer market. This module has found its way into the home security and automobile security markets.
•State of the Product
KJESC has its top engineers working on our new project, the Exacta-Tune (open to suggestion).
After some preliminary investigations, KJESC’s ability to design and manufacture this product is a certainty, with some outside funding.
•Source of Revenue Stream
As of the last quarter of 2001, KJESC has great potential for a continuous revenue stream. Many of KJESC’s products give a continuous revenue stream due to royalties for the use of our technologies. There are also many KJESC products that require updates from our company that brings in a continuous revenue stream.

These things include: length of existence time, quantity of competitors, and the quantity “of sales or revenue the product is generating” (p264). These are ways the marketer can obtain factually information on the product. After understanding the information the marketer can then look at the product life cycle. The product ...
•KJESC Facilities
KJESC bases its headquarters at:
4098 Thournanum Lane
Honolulu, HI 96740
TEL: 1-808-555-3692
KJESC runs all of its administration activities and engineering designs from this location. There are also state-of-the-art laboratory facilities located at this office. Our 10,000 sq. ft. office in Honolulu is the home to many of our top project engineers and administrators.
The vast distances between our offices is a non-issue. Our administrators have
successfully implemented “Virtual Engineering.” Most of our design work can be transferred via secure Internet connections along with memoranda and other announcements. This system allows our offices located thousands of miles apart communicate as if they were in the same building.
Upon completion of design and testing of the new product, the product must be manufactured and marketed. KJESC has rented space in San Juan, Puerto Rico for most of the manufacturing and development of the product. In the past, we have contracted out to an agency to market our products and hired a manufacturer to develop the product. Presently, KJESC plans to create their own marketing department for our next line of products to increase profits. Another benefit to this plan is that in-house marketing allows for the marketing department to have direct access to product information rather than the bureaucracy that occurs when using a hired marketing agency. Therefore, the majority of the marketing team will be established at the main headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.
