I am going to investigate wether a high BMI is connected to over eating so I can find an effective way of lowering my BMI to a lower healthier number.
My BMI
My height in meters – 1.58m
My weight in kg – 59.62kg
BMI calculation – mass/height2
59.62/(1.58 2)= 23.88
I have a normal BMI
Hypothesis
I think the higher the energy intake above the PER the higher the BMI. This is because the intake above the PER (personal energy intake) all access energy is deposited as fat. When taking the BMI (body mass intake), the mass of the body is divided by the height squared. The more fat the more body mass, meaning a higher BMI.
