My health
Trying to live healthy and staying fit requires alot of determination and self-dedication to the task. One needs to shed off the habitual traits that might compromise the future health and the well-being of the person.
In my opinion, I believe that, with the recent behavioural changes I have adapted, my health is no longer at risk. My current health can be termed as the best I have ever achieved ever since I turned sixteen. I am physically healthy because I engage in many physical activities, ranging from swimming to playing rugby with the campus rugby team. I also take a balanced diet, consisting of vegetables, fruits, carbohydrates and proteins, all mixed in the right proportions. I try as much as possible to eat when necessity calls, at the right time, in the right manner and for the right purpose. I do not eat simply because people do so. I like chewing nuts and taking lots of water daily. Sometimes I visit the gym, lift weights and do some other exercises, all aimed at burning the excess cholesterol in my body and manage to reduce my body weight (Hoeger and Hoeger 227).
In doing so, I can affirm that I am healthy and strong. I cannot even remember the last time I paid a visit to my doctor for medication. However, like any other human being I experience some minor ailments. Some of them heal naturally while others prompt me to visit my doctor for medical check up and fetch some antibiotics in order to boost my immunity.

However, my life is not as good and free from unhealthy behaviour as it seems to be from the above brief descriptions. Sometimes I find myself doing all the unreasonable things that a responsible parent can term as ill and unhealthy and unhealthy (Coleman and Hagell 10).
For example, I like taking my meals while directing my eyes towards the television. Sometimes I even forget what I was eating and shift my attention to my favourite programs being aired in the television. In addition to this, it is also my nature that my interests are not inclined to engaging in lots of physical activities. I have come to realise that I abhor all activities that strain my body and make me sweat. To be short and precise, I do not like participating a lot in sports, though I am not lazy. I like engaging in simple activities like browsing, playing computer games and reading a lot of articles. The reason as to why I am not ready and willing to change from the above behaviours is very simple. In my opinion, I see no problem in failing to engage myself in lots of hard activities. According to my understanding, doing simple things like jogging, swimming and walking is just enough for me. Moreover, I cannot refrain from spending long hours in my academics, reading articles and browsing because this is where I get my satisfaction (Donatelle 67).
I also find fun in watching the television while eating. I am also deeply addicted to playing computer games, and I find it difficult to change.
In addition to my endless list of unhealthy behaviours, I am thinking of changing two poor dietary behaviours that I have been engaging myself in. First, it has ever been my habit to skip my breakfast. Most of the days, I usually wake up to my fully occupied schedule to the extent of skipping my breakfast. I engage myself with the most demanding duties and then later end up leaving my apartments, knowingly failing to take my breakfast. In addition to this, breakfast has never been my topmost priority in the morning, although I know that it is said to be the most important meal of the day. Secondly, I am thinking of changing from my poor habit of failing to take fruits regularly. From a tender age, I have grown up knowing that fruits are essentially needed in the body for to promote proper functioning of the immune system. However, most of the time I usually find myself lacking the appetite for fruits. I abhor most of them and end up failing to take some even for a whole week.
The Research paper on Eating habits chapter 1
At home, at work or at school, in a restaurant or in a fast-food take out. Batangueños can choose from an ever-increasing variety of foods. Grocery stores offer an abundance of imported products, along with frozen meals that can be ready in minutes to satisfy the needs of time-crunched households. Fresh fruits and vegetables once considered exotic are now available throughout the year. In the ...
The reasons pertaining to why I am thinking of quitting from the above poor dietary behaviours are quite understandable. It is common sense that skipping breakfast tends to drain one’s energy. I have come to realise that once I skip breakfast I tend to feel weak the rest of the day. I have also come to realise that in doing so, my body metabolism tends to be impaired and I end up burning few calories. The effects of the latter are then experienced when signs of unanticipated weight loss occurs. In a bid to counteract the effects of the above, I usually solve my issues by binging, which is very unhealthy, and it leaves me in discomfort. The second reason as to why I want to start eating fruits is in a bid to boost my health and try as much as possible to be immune from minor ailments. I would not like a scenario where I would be visiting the physicians every now and then.
After having undergone a lot of trials and dedication, I have successfully managed to quit from emotional eating, commonly known as stress eating. I had developed a habit of eating some delicacies such as junky foods, even when I am not hungry, due to stress. I have also managed to stop eating late at night, or during bedtime. The reasons as to why I did quit from stress eating is also simple. It is because I came to realise that it made me gain a lot of weight that almost made me become obese. Such an idea dreaded me a lot, and I could not imagine myself referred to as being ‘fat’ by my peers. I also came to realise that eating late at night gave me sleeping difficulties due to the digestion problems that I was experiencing. In order to accomplish my duties well the following day, I had to spend a peaceful night. The digestion problems that I was experiencing were depriving me of sleep, and; therefore, I decided to change .All these accomplishment were successful due to the unwavering support and endless counselling from my beloved parents. An unhealthy life is extremely expensive, and that is why I have committed myself to healthy living habits. As for now, I am completely willing to live and act healthfully because I believe that I have the ability to achieve such a goal.
The Essay on Eating Apples at Night
This adage is taught to most western children as a way of verbalizing that apples are very healthy to eat. In theory, if we eat an apple every day, we will be so healthy that we won’t need a doctor. Although this is an exaggeration of the health benefits of apples, we can all agree that this is one healthy fruit. Koreans also have the same belief, but there is one exception. It’s believed in Korea ...
In conclusion, I have come from a far. The desire to change into a healthy living has finally led me to success. Life has taught me that success lies ahead, waiting for those who strive hard to achieve the desires of their hearts no matter the setbacks encountered.
