I searched my heart to find what I really wanted to be in life. I discovered that my dream is within my reach as my academic path leads to it. Looking back at my academic journey through the previous years, I realized that I am treading upon a track which will lead me to my preferred destination. I set my sight to finish my college education and made significant decisions along the way. Now, as I get closer to my anticipated graduation, I am thankful that I listened to my heart.
My academic journey spans two countries in two different continents. My academic journey began in Lithuania. I studied engineering for two years there. My general education includes subjects such as Higher Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Among the three, I enjoyed Chemistry the most. It helped me understand the different chemical properties and processes. It spelled awe in me as I learned more about substances, minerals, chemical reactions, and other interesting facets of chemistry. I am not satisfied, though. My heart’s not into engineering. I was not really happy. It was then that I decided to steer away from engineering and follow my heart’s desire, wherever it may direct me.
I went to the United States and commenced my academic pursuit. I heeded my desire and enrolled under a Bachelor of Science course with business administration as concentration.

My heart beats for business. I see myself running my own successful business someday. Specifically, I look forward to building my own beauty salon. Since the first day of my undergraduate stint, I knew deep in my heart that business is my longing and my destiny. From then on, I intentionally chose subjects which would benefit me. My main goal is to select subjects which would equip me with skills necessary in managing my future business, hence my concentration of study. My next goal is to enroll in classes under the general education that provide a comprehensive understanding of social reality and people in general.
I took American Government and Psychology subjects as part of my general education requirements. I am a foreigner, transplanted to the American soil. I have to deeply understand how things run in the United States government. I have to acquaint myself with the American type of governance and laws. Likewise, it is a requisite to understand the American people. My Psychology class not only taught theories but it bombarded bits of wisdom in dealing with other people as well. I consider these two courses as trainings on how to further assimilate and live in the US. The said subjects also made it easier for me to embrace the culture and the American way of life. More importantly, I grew as a person. For my concentration, I picked variety if business courses such as Small Business Management, Effective Personal and Organizational Communications, Human Resource Management, and Financial Accounting, among others.
Small Business Management showed me how to start and run a business. It provided useful insights on how I will effectively manage my future business enterprise. It gave me ideas on how to utilize different tools and techniques for marketing my products and services. I learned more about managing day-to-day operations and basic finances. Furthermore, this course confirmed my love for operating a prospect business. It affirmed by decision to engage in a business administration concentration.
The Business plan on Future Of Management Teams And Network
The future of management as it relates to organization and their structures is already taking shape in innovative and forward thinking companies. The newer models will become more and more the norm as time goes on. Corporations large and small have realized that the old paradigm of top-down management is often too cumbersome and too slow and in many cases simply too outdated to be effective in ...
On the other hand, Effective Personal and Organizational Communications made a better communicator out of me. I learned that communication is very vital in every business. I gained lessons on how to do counseling and coaching.
This course enabled me to see the complexity of a business organization which calls for a feedback mechanism design. This design will contribute to my future employees’ improved performance. Human Resource Management supplied me with important information on how to best recruit for my future employees. I know now how to compensate and deal with employees. It trained me on how to manage the most important asset of the business organization, that is, the people or employees. Lastly, Financial Accounting offered the correct principles in handling my future cash flows. Specifically, it gave me a hands-on training on understanding and keeping books that I may come up with wise financial decisions.
The aforementioned four concentration courses did not only prepare me for my future business but also equip me for my present work as a waitress. I am applying the theories that we discussed in my subjects. In the course of doing my job, I am given the opportunity to observe and see the principles as taught by my professors. My job made me realize, too, that I want to be in a service business.
Business Administration has all the needed tools and knowledge that I need to posses in my pursuit to bring my dream into a tangible reality. I firmly believe that the courses which I have taken provide will help me to become more competitive and successful in my future beauty business. I orchestrated my subjects in order for me to get maximum learning and insights. Even my Chemistry lessons from my engineering course will also be helpful in producing and mixing beauty products for my future clients.
Life is too short to be wasted on wrong subjects, much more on wrong career path. I came to realize that a successful career begins by taking the right subjects under a desired bachelor degree. By taking relevant subjects, I know that I am on my way to reaching my dream. After all, there’s no other way to prepare for my dream but to take Business Administration. In my heart, it is the only option.
The Essay on Business Ethics Younger Employee
The people in society have become selfish, ignorant, greedy, and egotistical. People running businesses have forgotten what loyalty means, and have centered their minds only on making profits.
