I was also the chief of all temples so I visited each temple to make sure everything was well and so that I would perform sacred rituals in front of many viewers. I lead the army to wars and battles and we fight against many different countries. I will try to always return with a win. One of my other roles was to do the trading business, with all the different countries to make sure that whatever was going to happen was fair. Another role I had to uphold is that I controlled the water system in Egypt, and made sure the Nile was ok and running smoothly. On top of that I stored spare grain in case of an emergency or food shortage.
To many of the Egyptians I was a living god so that was another major role to uphold. Quite a hard role to obtain was that each day I had to please all the gods so that if I do good fortune will come my and to the country. My role was to look out for my people, to make sure they were happy and living the right lives and going upon my laws and rules. My last role was the hardest of them all for me was that it was my job to make sure that the Nile flooded each year so that there would be fertile land for growing crops and if it didn’t I would get blamed for all this and that of course means CHAOS!

And of course I don’t want that. My roles were challenging especially because I wasn’t used to it. But anyway this was nothing compared to the duties I have. And have I got to tell you this was one tough ride. Many Egyptians thought of me as their religious and powerful leader of this country, which for me was a big ask. I had a lot of power over the country which made me quite strong. But not to mention my roles were also a BIG part of my duties. I went to many temples and ceremonies to perform sacred rituals for the gods and for everyone to see.
I had to make sure that each person had religion and the gods part of their daily life as if they didn’t there would be quite a bit of chaos. Each day I handled legal disputes between the people of Egypt as they thought different things and this caused them to fight. I was the commander of the army of Egypt so I attend the meetings and guide them on what they can do better if they can. I will hopefully lead them to victory. Another duty I had was that we had an adequate food supply. I made sure that each person had enough food in their homes and that of course in case of emergency we did have back up food supply.
My duties put quite an amount of pressure on me and this was on top of my roles. Being Pharaoh was a big job to handle but I was sure good at it. Now my daily life was quite packed with jobs and duties to obtain. During my day I have to rule Egypt as this is something I do each day. I review court appointments so I know what is happening throughout court that day. I meet with officials to talk about anything we are unsure about or want to add onto. I welcome ambassadors from different countries to our country to tell them about my country and understand if they think anything should be improved.
If I thought of anything new I wanted to add on I would consult my advisors. Each day I would draw plans for new laws I want to add to the government and this will help the country be a better place. Each day I would meet up with the army or the army leader to negotiate plans and to see if new actions should be taken. I had to make sure that everywhere was on patrol to keep the country safe from any danger and to see if anyone was doing the wrong thing or disobeying the laws. I attended all sacred rituals and I even held some of them each day to worship the gods.
The Essay on Io Saturnalia God Holiday Day
In the Roman calendar Saturnalia was designated a holy day, or holiday. The name is derived from the god Saturnus, the god of seed and sowing. At the time of the winter solstice (December 25 in the Julian calendar), Saturnus was honored with a festival. It was officially celebrated on December 17 (a. d. XVI Kal. Ian. ), in the middle of two other agricultural festivals: the Consualia, which ...
When there was no work to be done I would usually recline by myself or with my husband. (If I was a man maybe with wife) I would also look out for important landmarks and to see if anything was damaged so I could replace it and I would do the same for my garden. My days as Pharaoh were quite busy and packed full of things to do. For my country we had many gods and so, because of this we don’t follow one religion. We all worshipped many of our gods but me especially worshipped Re’ the god of the sun. However I was classified as a god and a high priest to the Egyptians which made me a god to.
To all Egyptians I was classified to be a god and that I controlled everything that I helped keep the country safe. And because of this I held all the rituals to praise the gods and this means that I was making sure the country was safe. As a female I had to change my clothing to make myself look like I was a man Pharaoh. I wore a robe and rich materials to look wealthy and clean. As the Pharaoh I had to show cleanliness and wealth in whatever I wore and that meant I had to look my best so that people would follow.
To do this I wore a lot of jewellery as a Pharaoh would and I wore sandals on my feet. For my clothing I used linen fabric, and it had to be transparent as if it was it showed that I looked wealthier. I wore a headpiece called the neme or the crown to show my place. I wore a slendyt, which was a royal apron; this was my main piece of clothing. My robe had to be the most transparent piece of clothing in the wardrobe as I wore this every day. Something else I wore was the kohl around my eyes to make me look more powerful and I wore this to prevent diseases and the suns glare from getting onto my eyes.
The last touch I used to make myself look like a real Pharaoh was the fake beard to ensure that I looked believable enough. This proved my role as a real Pharaoh of Egypt. My clothing showed a real part of my role and it showed the message to people that I was a real Pharaoh and that I was wealthy and important. Nevertheless, my housing was another major part which showed my living environment and showed my wealth. In my house I would have to have luxury and comfort which was essential for all Pharaohs. I lived in a large two storey house to make it look bigger than others.
Outside the house I had beautiful gardens and pools to walk around and look at. I had high walls around the house to ensure that I had privacy from others around me. My house would look over the Nile valley. Because my country has extremely hot climates my house had to have strong material to prevent any damage from happening to it. My house had to have a flat roof with an air vent to let the breeze from outside come into the house. My kitchen was on the second storey so that the air vent would be closer to the kitchen and when the breeze comes through the chef would not feel the heat of the kitchen as much.
The Essay on Forces Of Violence God Joseph Pharaoh
An Enemy Called Violence Even though the Hebrews believe God to be loving, he is not found pleasant in all situations. God is helpful, rewarding, and caring in the Bible toward the people who have faith in him; and is also known to be devastating, and at times overwhelming to his opponents when God inflicts forces of violence. The force of violence plays a major roll in Genesis and Exodus. Three ...
The roof would often have a terrace so I could relax on during the evening to enjoy the cool wind. There were small windows because windows were not essential in an Egyptian house so it got dark in the rooms quite quickly when night came. My house was beautiful, for sure and I enjoyed living in it. But my rights were something else I had to look after. My rights were to punish anyone I saw that was not obeying my rules and laws and find a punishment for them as they were doing the wrong thing. I could do anything I wanted to without getting permission as I was the ruler and no one tells me what to do.
If it was really necessary I would start a war with another country, or I could start a trade with another country. And I could pick ONE of many wives (for me it would be husbands) My rights were something I had to acknowledge as they were quite important. Now I will move on to the responsibilities I have. Everyone has responsibilities even me, no matter how important I am. I made sure that each person praises the gods so that good fortune will come upon us. I made sure that everyone was ready for the afterlife including myself. I made sure that everything was going well in the country, that not one thing was out of place.
I had to make sure that I made sufficient offerings to all my people. It was my job to satisfy the gods and to make sure I pleased them. Lastly I had to make sure we beat the enemies’ team so we could become a stronger country. My responsibilities are quite important to me and I have to uphold them. However the food I got compared to others was quite god and I should appreciate that. I got meat quite often throughout the week whereas everyone got it once or twice a week; I got bread, olives, fruit etc. I got a lot of good food which made it even better for me to have a variety.
The Essay on Country Contribute World One Things
.".. sovereignty is like virginity: once you engage in intercourse with the outside world you have lost it." - Jagdish BhagwatiOur global society presents great opportunities, but also many obstacles, to the improvement of the human condition. Overall I play a big role in Egypt as the ruler of this country I believe my importance is recognizable to many. I help run the country, I make sure it is safe, and I help the country in every way. Each day I have a variety of things to do, and by me doing these things the country is moving forward. My importance for Egypt plays a major role in society as without me Egypt would be a country with no direction. My importance to the civilisation of Ancient Egypt is that without me there would be no idea of what Egypt once was, because with pharaohs we form a great history for Egypt.
