Fast food is rich in fats and carbohydrates with little quantity of vitamins. All these hamburgers and hot dogs are very tasty.
They look nice and are easy to eat but they are very unhealthy. They are cooked from semi-finished products and cooks only reheat them and serve. Fast food is rich in trans fats the kind of harmful lipids. Modern dietetics claims that average woman should eat approximately 2,000 calories per day. Mens daily diet should consist of 2,700 calories per dy. Fats should be no more than 30% of daily food allowance.
To satisfy these conditions, average woman should eat not more than 65 g of fats, and man should eat not more than 80 g of fats. What concerns cholesterol and natrium, the norm is 300 mg and 2400 mg correspondingly. Now lets have a look at McDonalds fast food. A typical dinner in McDonalds is Big Mac menu. It contains more than half of a daily caloric value of food, salt and almost half a daily norm of cholesterol. No wonder that consumption of fast food contributes to obesity. Americans started file numerous actions against such fast food giants like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and many other companies.
