Many people are fixed on the belief that aliens are fun, fantasy creatures that exist only in children’s books. They believe that the idea of aliens being on Earth is impossible and that all ‘encounters’ are set ups or hoaxes. However, I think that to assume that our planet is the only one capable of housing a species that has evolved and progressed is an arrogant statement. If this describes your attitude towards aliens, I hope to open your mind and help you see the possibilities even if your opinion is not changed. Firstly, I would like to address the ‘Roswell Incident’. This incident took place on July 7, 1947 and the name ‘Roswell’ has now become synonymous with UFOs. There are many controversies over what happened on that day in July and I would like to agree with the theory that is by far the most exciting, popular and intriguing. The first recount is that a UFO fell onto a range near Roswell, New Mexico. What dropped from the sky was an alien spacecraft that contained extra-terrestrial life. This theory comes from many scientists and not just the general public.
However the answer belonging to the United States Armed Forces is slightly different. They claimed then, and to this day, that the object that fell was an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon belonging to what was then a top secret program named ‘Mogul’. I however, agree with the first approach and believe that what landed was indeed some sort of machinery not made in Earth. This incident is the most well-known of UFO crashes and the suspicious behaviour (such as confiscating the remains as quickly as was possible and hasty ‘balloon’ theory) by the US Armed Forces only increased the belief that it was aliens crashing in Roswell. I think that Roswell was a legitimate affair that did include aliens or alien equipment. Next, I think we should discuss the famous (and infamous) Area 51. Rumors of Area 51 include; the storage and examination of crashed alien spacecraft (including material supposedly recovered at Roswell) as well as the study of their inhabitants (living and dead), and the manufacture of aircrafts based on alien technology. There are also stories of meetings with extra-terrestrials that are alongside many other supposed theories of developing machinery that could enable weather control, time travel and teleportation.

These may be just what they sound, rumors, but unless the government were working on something extremely top secret why would they refuse to let planes fly anywhere near the base and have permission to shoot at anyone who does. I don’t know entirely what to think about Area 51 but I do believe that there is either alien technology or the extra-terrestrials themselves. I think that because of the level of security around Area 51, there is a large potential of alien work being conducted there. My third and final point is that many Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics include images that depict ‘Gods’ coming from the sky and being worshipped. These pictures were carved into rocks thousands of years ago yet clearly represent images such as spaceships, oversized ‘humans’ and alien figures. These four and many others provoke the same thought: Were aliens influential and/or accepted in Ancient Egypt? You can see in the pictures; modes of transportation similar to that which we imagine from other planets, an alien figure within a crowd and a person with an oddly shaped head which is associated with aliens.

I have indicated the parts of this image that are evidence of aliens being involved in Egyptian life. In the left box, we can see a helicopter image. Around the early 1920’s were the first effective helicopter flights. This shows that either the Egyptians had incredible skills for prediction of the future, or we were being assisted by beings from other planets that have further advanced in technology than we are by thousands of years. Honestly, both options seem mind-blowing to me. But I think that, despite everything, I am more inclined to believe we were helped by extra-terrestrials. In the box on the right is cigar-shaped vehicle and underneath that a jet or plane. At the bottom of the box is something that resembles a hovercraft. These four carved hieroglyphics are proof that aliens visited or lived in Ancient Egypt and brought with them some kind of technology.
So what do you believe? Do you think that aliens have visited or are currently occupying Earth or do you believe that all of this information is untrustworthy and all hoaxes? I am not, and would never; try to claim that all information on this subject is correct. There are many fake accounts of alien sightings and made up evidence. However, there is simply so much out there that don’t you begin to wonder where the cut off line is between ‘100% fake’ and ‘there may be some truth hidden there’? Indeed I am still puzzled, as are many scientists and supporters from all around the world, on many aspects of this topic. Finally, I honestly don’t know whether or not I want to find out that aliens have been occupying Earth for thousands of year, as some theories suggest. The thought that our own world would hold such a big secret from us, and that it is possible to, is quite scary. So again I ask the question: What do you believe?
