Our nation is experiencing a massive cry out from its citizens demanding their freedom. I believe our government has forgotten its American Heritage. Being the leaders of our nation, they should understand the importance of valuing each individual citizen’s views and opinions. As a democracy, our nation was built for the people, by the people and that’s what we all need to realize. It is our government’s responsibility to guarantee that each citizen feels respected and are provided with what they need to be a substantial citizen. Our government must help keep pride levels high in our American homes. As citizens, we must make sure our government is protecting us and stay proud of our country. WE ALL our responsible for instilling our American values and heritage into our children, so that they can pass them down to their children. We must keep the values alive. This may include vivid history lessons or storytelling.
