Amusement parks are a great place to see Newton’s laws of motion in action. Choose your favorite ride and describe the parts of the ride that illustrate each of Newton’s laws of motion. You are only required to give a written description; however, if you would like, you may draw and label a picture in addition to the paragraph explanation. I’m using a roller coaster for my example.
1.) The roller coaster doesn’t move until force is used upon it. 2.) When the roller coaster goes down after reaching a very high point in the ride, gravity makes it speed up. 3.) The roller coaster is on top of the track, the track applies a opposite or equal force on the roller coaster.
