An Interesting poem I came across on the internet
I was doing my assignment given by my maths teacher that was to be completed before school re-opens in term 3. I was surfing the internet while I was connecting to the Ace-Learning website. I was searching for a poem that was suitable for my birthday card that I have made for my Best Friend for her birthday. I had put in my best effort to make it the best card. To make it look better and attractive, I was going through the website “jellymuffin.com” for cute and attractive glitter images and poems that melted the heart.
Suddenly I came across a beautiful and heart touching poem. The poem said,
“I need a Friend,
I need a friend to trust,
A friend I can tell anything to,
I need a friend,
I need a friend to help me,
A friend that will help me through the worst,
I need a friend to cry with,
Over all stupid things,
I need a friend,
I need a friend to stay with me till the very end,
A best friend,
To stay with .me till the very end,
WHO IS JUST LIKE YOU STAYING WITH ME”
This poem really touched my heart. This poem was told by a girl who wanted a friend badly. She was sitting outside her house looking at all the people having friends while she was not having one. I send it to my best friend Priya whose birthday was on 15 June. She appreciated the poem so much that when in a birthday party she shed tears. When asked the reason for shedding of tears her respond was “I never read a poem like this before. I really appreciate this poem. Thank you.” It was the poem that makes her feel the emotional feel. My opinion of the poem is that this poem really makes a true friend cry because the fact is true.
