The story begins with the servants of two households, Samson and Gregory, the Capulet servants, and Abraham and Balthazar, the Montague servants, start a sword fight in a public square in Verona for no real reason or purpose. Prince Escalus heard all the corruption and angrily orders the crowd to throw down their weapons and to stop fighting. The Prince accuses the lords of the two families for the fighting and warns, “If ever you disturb our streets again, your lives shall pay forfeit of the peace,” Romeo is one of the main character of thin story and he is the son of lord montigue. Romeo Goes straight to friar Lawrence in the morning and tells him every thing that has happened. The friar agrees to marry them in the afternoon and hopes that the marriage will end the conflict with the families. Tybalt has also sent a letter to Romeo challenging him to a dual. Juliet meets Romeo at the friar’s cell and then they and the friar make there way to the wedding chapel to be wed. While they were being married Tybalt has killed Mercutio in the Town Square Romeo learns of this and promises revenge on his friend’s death. The Prince finds out of Romeo’s quest and he exiles Romeo of the city of Verona. Juliet waits all night to have her husband arrive but he never does, the nurse then comes in and tells her that Tybalt’s dead and Romeo is banished. Romeo learns of his banishment at the friar’s cell and then takes a dagger to himself to take his own life rather than banishment. But the friar talks him out of and tells Romeo to spend one last night with Juliet and the go to mantua the nearest city and wait for the friars return. While Juliet was up stairs with Romeo the Capulets were down stairs making plans with Paris about the wedding arrangements with Juliet. The next morning the lovers must bid farewell. Romeo kisses his bride goodbye and then goes down the ladder. Lady Capulet goes into Juliet’s room and tells her she is to be married in three days Juliet refuses it. Lord Capulet threatens if she is not married to Paris he will exile her.

It was Tuesday morning and Paris was making wedding arrangements with the priest. Juliet appeared at the priest cell asking for confession. Paris leaves, and the priest tells her his plan. The priest’s plan is to give Juliet a potion that will make her dead for 24 hours. While she lies dead the priest will get Romeo and when she wakes up the priest will escort the back to mantua.
Juliet returns home to ask for disobedience and begs for forgiveness. Capulet for givers her and moves the wedding to Wednesday one day early. Juliet then gets into bed alone and drinks the potion. The next morning the nurse goes to wake her but the nurse finds her unresponsive and tells the family that she is dead. Early Wednesday morning Romeo’s servant goes and informs him that Juliet is dead. Romeo is heart broken and goes to see her body that night.
The friar’s messenger died on the way because of the plague, so the friar decided since Romeo wont is here in time that he will wake her himself. He will hide Juliet in his cell until Romeo returns. Romeo try’s to enter the tomb that night after her funeral but Paris find him and attempts to arrest him but Romeo wont go with out a fight so in the fight Romeo kills Paris. After Romeo kills Paris he goes in the tomb stairs at the beauty of his dead bride Juliet. Romeo decides he can’t live with out her so he drinks poison and dies. Right After his death Juliet awakes and sees Romeo and Paris lying dead so she grabs Romeo’s dagger and jabs it into her slowly killing her. Right after her death the priest walks in and sees the plan gone wrong and turns around and the authorities are there. The priest goes on trial for the death and pleads not guilty and tells the tale. Montague receives a message from his late son Montague and it tells of what happened and gives the priest his innocence. After the horrible tragedy the families come together and put up statues of the others child.
