This is not my first visit to this strange and interesting planet. My first visit was around 570 million years ago but these single celled organisms that inhabited the planet were pretty boring but there were creatures with backbones beginning to develop. I decided to come back around 300 million years ago to see what kind a progress these new creatures were making and was shocked to discover huge reptile like organisms inhabiting the planet. I stayed for a while and studied these things called dinosaurs because they were amazing looking. I had to return home for a while and the next time I returned all the dinosaurs were gone! These new animals had taken over. I still see some traces of dinosaurs but they were smaller and different.
The planets atmosphere had changed and all kinds of creatures had taken form. One wonderful animal I observed where the apes. They seemed very intelligence and different than all other animals i found. The most prominent animal I came in contact with were called Homo sapiens, or humans.
The humans seemed to be the rulers or leaders of the planet now. Though they are all different colors, shapes, and sizes, they were so different from all the other animals except the apes. They had a lot of things in common and I though that maybe they belonged to the same family or that human could have evolved from the apes. Both humans and apes had prehensile hands, using there thumbs to grasp things. They both have nails not claws, and their eyes are positioned in the front of their heads. They also have similar teeth all with four different kinds.
The Essay on Planet Of Life: Apes To Man
I.Introduction Planet of Life: Apes to Man is narrated by Stacy Keach and it was originally produced and presented by the Discovery Channel. This series shows us about the history of evolution on this planet and each episode has a separate chapter in the biography of the world. This series also shows us that one group of primates moved onto plains where they evolved the ability to stand upright. ...
The most interesting similarity between them is the fact that they have single births then have a long maturation period for their children. Both when sitting have their trunks upright and have large brains in comparison to their bodies. They also both are social animals and live together with other members or their kind. Though apes and humans are close in nature they are definitely not exactly the same. Humans are highly developed creatures. The most distinguishing trait they posses is the ability to walk on two feet all the time and with great ease.
Unlike almost all other animals their bodies have evolved to support this type of movement. They also mastered using tools, fire, and agricultural to supply the things they need to survive. In some places the humans still live among animals but in other the animals are forced to live among them. They have zoos and even domesticated pets that live in their homes and rely on them for survival. Unlike animals who use reproduction just to procreative more of their species humans actually fall in love with each other and get married. They will spend their lives with one person and only procreate with them.
Animals on the other had will have multiple partners and many offspring. Humans have complete spoken and written languages. They can read and write and do this in multiple languages. Animals have ways to communicate with one another but nothing as complicated as human language. Humans live in societies with laws and government to tell them how to act and be moral. Animals may have leader of their herd or pact but nothing like the president or a king.
Human unlike all other animals raise their children for years until they are fully mature. Then they stay in contact with them for the rest of their lives. When they die they have a funeral and give them a burial. Humans are unlike no others. I am excited to see what is next for this ever-changing planet.
