ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION
SGNPS, Adarsh Nagar, hosted annual day celebration at Shah Auditorium on 5th January 2008. The Chief Guest, Shri Mangat Ram Singhal, Minister for labour and industry and Guest of Honour, Shri S.R.Kapoor, Education Officer (Zone IX).
Director of Education lighted the ceremonies lamp. Thereafter, the Annual day program commenced with rendition to Almighty. The school Principal, Mr. Dhiren M. Doshi presented the School’s Annual Report and welcomed the Guest Management members and parents. Vibrant and colorful programmes were performed by the school children. Valley of Veronica by nursery students showed that Strength lies in Unity and can even conquer adversity.
The hindi comedy play Dr. Auzarmand left the audience into fits of laughter. Besides that other dance performance based on medley of songs and regional dances like Giddha and Bhangra were highly appreciated by all. Then the School Magazine Charan 2008 and the school website were launched by the School Chairman, Sardar Kuldip Singh Saini ji and the secretary Saradr Baldev Singh Puri. For the prize distribution ceremony that followed thereafter, Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were called upon. The students with outstanding results in CBSE and school were awarded mementos and certificates. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour spoke in high appreciation of the performances of the students and the school. Vote of thanks was offered by the School Chairman and secretary. The School Principle, Mr. Dhiren M. Doshi expressed his feelings of jubilation over the success of the event and appreciated the strenuous endeavor of the entire staff and students.
