The event took place at the school field on the 30th of June 2012. The preparations are made much in advance. A day earlier the tent is put up. Chairs are arranged in rows along the boundary wall of the ground so that the invited parents and non-participating students can sit and watch the happenings. By the time it was 8 in the morning; parents and students arrived and settled down on chairs located under big yellow tents.
Once they were all settled in, our beloved principal Tuan Hj Suleiman kicked things off with an opening speech. He welcomed the parents and gave words of encouragement for our spiritual athletes. Meanwhile, the students participating in the school sports house march had gathered in the school field for further preparation. All of the school sports house tents are adorned with big banners and flags. Mascots of each team appeared like cartoon characters.
The school sport houses such as red house, yellow house, green house, blue house and red house had started their march. They saluted past the parents’ tent and the juries’ table. Various events were held after. Then the race began. Our sports teacher blew the whistle for the race to begin and another teacher noted the time with the help of a stop watch. A photographer took the photos. There were 100 meters, 200 meters and half a mile races.

Apparently the house with the highest medal tally was the red house. The chief guest praised al the athletes and congratulated the winners.
