Planning is the first and foremost function that is controlled by the manager. It is the base in which goals are formulated and then carried out.
Strategies are formed along with improvising the best solution for the outcome that you are seeking. Business proposals are generated and lead by managers who ask personnel to complete them. The Essay on Statement Of Purpose (Management Of Technology)
I strongly believe that Global business changes rapidly; what an enterprise really needs is accelerated growth. To succeed and sustain, ever-changing economic conditions, business transformation, fast-tracked innovation and efficient operation are significant. It is also important to drive out unnecessary steps in development and administration. Technology plays a prime role in fulfilling this. It ...
Provided that leaders lead by example, Leading is crucial to the operational success of the business. This inspires and intrigues others to be influenced to excel their learning abilities to the next level. Managers encourage those under them to strive to be leaders one day and to help them think outside the box. With the several employees that Apple has employed have been encouraged to diversify their thinking skills, which has magnified Apple’s growth for technology. Controlling is the last function in management. Controlling is by way of observing production and effectuates any revisions that are needed. This helps managers to continue with the flow of the offices to make sure they maintain an even level of standards within the establishment.
Globalization is an external factor, which affects large institutions to continually oversee the abilities to manage effectively. It is defined by the New World Encyclopedias as “a term used to describe the changes in societies and the world economy that are the result of dramatically increased cross-border trade, investment, and cultural exchange.” (New World Encyclopedias, 2008).
Globalization incorporates its events to take place, giving the managers no control of the situation at hand.
An internal factor is Technology. It is what drives businesses to be successful by way of the Internet. “Technology can be most broadly defined as the entities, both material and immaterial, created by the application of mental and physical effort in order to achieve some value. In this usage, technology refers to tools and machines that may be used to solve real-world problems. “ (New World Encyclopedias, 2008) Marketing and advertising helps to stir up businesses’ earrings. Computers, Smart Phones, iPads and other electronic devices help to keep Managers aware of the company and connected to others by way of communication. They rely on technology to stay organized, plan, and lead employees, while continuing with their leadership tasks. These are some of the reasons why Apple has become such a profitable and moneymaking company who has just flourished over other companies. Innovation can be both internal and external functions for an effective strategy in building a successful company.

It is the change to services and goods that are sold from the different departments. (Bateman & Snell, 2011) Being able to come up with new ideas and visually format them into completed products is key to staying ahead of the competitors. The internal aspect of Innovation consists of the employees, goods produced and the revenue made. The competitors, consumers and wealth of the country play the external role. In the Bloomberg Business article it states that “the ability of Apple to innovate in many spaces–getting the music companies to agreed to 99 cent pricing, creating wonderful iTunes software, making a terrific physical product, the iPod, that just works in your hand.” (Nussabaum, 2007) This is why Apple is number one in Innovation, because its creative appeal to people desires them to want what they do not need. Diversity is an internal and external factor that affects the four functions of management by controlling the atmosphere of the working staff and suppliers.
The external factor is in 1993, Apple created a diversity program to establish equal and fair treatment. Apple states that “the businesses we categorize as diverse suppliers are Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as well as businesses located in Historically Underutilized Business regions (HUBZone) and Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB).” (Apple, n.d.) This is the same for the internal part, which is by employing male, female and all races are equal associates of Apple. Lastly, Ethics is both internal and external. While it follows the four functions of management, it can be extremely challenging at times. Apple maintains a strong code of conduct to make sure they are always in compliance with the federal government.
