The mission statement should contain what the plan is for the company in both the present and the future. It is basically explaining in short what the company stands for and what their mission is for the company. The mission statement for Tim’s Coffee Shoppe is: “Tim’s Coffee Shoppe strives to go above and beyond in providing quality coffee at a profitable rate with the most rewarding environment and professional atmosphere. ” I believe this mission statement allows for changes down the road. I believe the coffee shop could offer more than just coffee later on. The entertainment could get better.
The location could change for the better and hopefully business will later become a partnership with another employee. The short term goals I feel focus in with the mission and vision statement. In order to provide great service he needs to be able to accept more than cash. The staffing needs to be professional if he wants to continue to attract memorable clientele. Lastly the finances have to be inline in order to be a successful business owner so he has to make sure his purchases are being made properly and items are being used and not just sitting around in storage or the office.
Now for the long term goals I believe if he betters these goals in the future 3-5 years he will have great success with the company. Relocating to a bigger location that may offer a wider variety of tourist or business professionals would bring in more business. He could also look into adding Wi-Fi to the coffee shop which would bring in more customers not just for coffee but to actually stay for a while. He would need to provide a welcoming atmosphere for that to happen. Reviewing customer comments is a big one for me because that is where you get your results of how people like the shop or not.
The Business plan on Mission and Vision Statement 2
The purpose of a mission statement is to articulate the purpose and philosophy of the entity while the vision statement states the goal the entity seeks to achieve. Both of these are driven by values that lay the foundation for these assertions, acting as the nucleus from which the individual’s being and direction takes shape. While organizations use these statements to clarify their intent within ...
I believe he needs to at least 1-2 times a month take time to read over the reviews and see if he can get any advice from outsiders on changes needed to be made that are not out of line. Last but not least he needs to provide customer service training to all employees. It does not matter if they have been doing it all their life or not. He needs to be able to say that he has trained his employees and that they take annual training accordingly in order to operate his shop with him. I believe that would also help them on their issues and hopefully lower the warnings that are being given out.
The task and responsibilities for Tim as the owner is to make sure he can meet his commitment that he makes in the vision and mission statement. He is responsible for making sure he commits time to providing the best atmosphere to the customers which consist of store location, entertainment, Wi-Fi service for the customers. Providing good quality coffee to the customers and making sure they receive the best service. He needs to make sure he does well on the interviewing process in bringing in the best possible employees to work for him and provide great service.
He also needs to make sure the prices are at a great rate for the customers so that they will enjoy the pricing and the service. The responsibility of the managers in general is to be there to provide excellent leadership to the employees to make sure the mission and vision statement are being put to use. The managers should assist in providing proper training and guidance to the employees in order for them to be successful in their service to the customers. The task and responsibilities of the employees are that they should be able to provide quality service to the customer this is to include taking care of the shop.
The Term Paper on The Phoenician Resort Service Customer Event
INTRODUCTION How can 130 acres of resort "nestle" anywhere, especially in the heart of a thriving metropolis known as "The Valley of the Sun" Yet, through the combination of landscaping and architecture, this slice of desert heaven does seem to discreetly nestle against Camelback Mountain, its sandstone terraces barely discernible. Even in the heart of Arizona's Sonoran desert, the well manicured ...
The morning shift should be able to prepare the shop for business and the evening shift should be able to prep the shop for closing and the morning shift. All employees need to work together and assignments for task should be split up depending on where and what shift the employee is working. I believe task should always be switched around as well so that everyone gets crossed trained and no one can say that they do not know how to do this or that. The employees should want to be the stars of the shop.
Their job is to show their dedication to Tim in helping him run a successful business. They should enjoy their jobs and help him with areas that he may need to fix. Customer service is huge in any business and that is the responsibility of the employees to make sure they provide great service and have customers wanting to come back daily.
