In this world, there is an infinite amount of definitions for beauty. It all depends on the point of view of the person. Although human beings haven`t come up with an exact definition of beauty, some people base their definition on external qualities, while others base on internal qualities. For the purpose of this essay, beauty is defined as a quality, external or internal, that catches the attention of a person, and it is strong enough to make that person think about it constantly. Beauty comes in many forms, and it is only recognized when it contains the qualities necessary to stand out.
According to Confucius, “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. ” This quote has a very strong meaning because it not only makes people realize that everything has beauty, but it also shows that somebody`s personality, and point of view might interfere in seeing beauty. Although a majority of people do not realize it, beauty can come from nothing, and nothing could be seen as the most beautiful thing.
