Before I Say Good-Bye By: Mary Higgins Clark In the beginning of the novel you are introduced to Nell Caul iff. As a child Nell’s parents were killed in a plane crash, and Nell was raised by her grandfather. Nell said she had ESP just like her Great-aunt Gert, and Nell said she knew when her great-aunt died and knew her parents were killed in a plane crash, and was comforted by their presence. Nell always had the gift of extrasensory perception, just like her great-aunt Gert, but her grandfather laughed at the idea of ESP and told Nell that she was just imagining things.
Nell’s grandfather was a former congressman and wanted her to run for his own seat in the House. Nell’s husband Adam an Architect, opposes to the idea of her running for Congress. The next day Nell informs Adam that she was going to run and they had an argument. Adam had a meeting on his cruiser with several business associates, and the cruiser exploded a little while later. Nell contacts Adam through a medium and finds out a lot of stuff that had happened in Adam’s life she never knew about. One reviewer of this novel thought the novel was weak all around.
They also thought the most of the characters were meaningless and weak. She gave the novel one star out of five stars. She thought this novel was the worst. She gave the novel two stars out of five.

I thought the novel could have been better than it was, but it was good. This novel was very interesting though with the ESP thing. This was a suspense novel and a page-turner.
