The article states that the best way to treat a person with Down syndrome is to treat them like an ordinary person.
Though the person may need some extra care, the Down syndrome disease does not completely disable the person from all events in life. Most of the care for a Down syndrome patient lies in the hands of the physician and the parents of the child caring the disease. There is no real cure for down syndrome therefore nothing can really be down besides some small alterations. Why this Topic? I chose this topic because I have heard of and been around the Down syndrome my entire life, but never really knew what the disease was or what it did to a person. I have always wanted to do research on this topic and many other diseases that I do not know to much about.
