Bless Me, Ultima was a well-written book filled with a boys dream and the process of a boy becoming a man. It had great story lines and I really enjoyed the plot of the book. Some parts of the book I really enjoyed others were too boring. In this essay I will explain and evaluate what I enjoyed and what I disliked about Bless Me, Ultima. Antonio goes to school for the first time in his life and learns the sadness of life. In this paragraph I will summarize the main factors of what I enjoyed in the novel. Miss Maestas class makes Antonio feel really sad and for the first time in Antonios young life he feels La Tritesa de La Vida, the sadness of life.
Antonio feels very sad and lonely after this scene. I thought that this part in the book was the most significant. Antonio feels a certain feeling that is so harsh it cannot be describable. What I also enjoyed was how vast this 7-year-old boy Antonios dreams were. The dream that I thought was the most noteworthy and most rousing was his first dream that he had in chapter one. This dream was the start of many wonderful and interesting dreams throughout this wonderful book Bless Me, Ultima. Antonio had some weird and uncommon kind of friends. They never missed a day of school but yet they are the worst students throughout the whole school.
Antonios friends were not very good friends but at least he had some guys to out with rather than felling the sadness by him self. I thought that his friends were very hilarious, at least I thought. They used a wide variety of not so great vocabulary a wide range. Bless Me, Ultima was a very splendid book all this what I have just explained is how great of dreams he had and how he took certain steps in becoming a man. This book was very religious in many parts. I will evaluate now on what I did not exactly enjoy about this novel.
The Essay on A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Book or Movie
Personally, I prefer the original play of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” only slightly more than the film adaption that was recreated in the late 1990’s. Not only had William Shakespeare managed to fully grasp the meaning of true love, but had also comprehended the dark times that came alongside such an influential and overpowering emotion. Although the movie had effectively and humorously portrayed ...
The Marez/ Lunar family was very religious in their household. They teach Antonio to be very religious person; his mother wants him to become a priest. I liked how they explained a lot about God but then they bring A Golden Carp in this story I didnt think that was right. The youngest son Antonio will most likely become a priest, because he has dreams that no other 7 year olds dream about. Bless Me, Ultima was very non-fictions that could not be true in a real life situation. When they novel talks about the Golden carp, which is so Non- Fiction and didnt really notice me.
Antonio had some real fiction and non-fiction dreams that no way no little boy can have. This book really had no point to it; it was also very long and dull. All these solid detail explain what I disliked about the story. This book was very interesting at some parts and at other parts very unexciting but overall Bless Me, Ultima was a well well-brought-up and immense to read book.
