Blink 182 (mark, tom and travis) began with their album called dude ranch which was their start with popularity. Their first major song was “all the small things” in the video they ran naked inspiring other young teens to follow in their footsteps. They were a fun-loving band that loved to make fun of other entertainers. Their next project was box car racer which was good at first, but it went downfall as soon as they released the single “there is.” They waited a while, then teamed up with tim armstrong from rancid and created the transplants. Transplants came out with two songs including, “dj, dj” and “diamond and guns” which was featured in a shampoo commercial.
Blink 182 thought that their life as a band was finished, until they released their new song titled “feeling this” it was a smash hit now they are back on top of the music industry once again. They are still breaking the rules and turning heads and they are still hated by some and loved by most. Punk-rock seems to be fading quick, but we are all hoping that blink 182 can bring it back before its too late! This only shows that blink can do anything and it could all fail, but their fans will never give up on them. It was also reported that early last year, a young male committed suicide and he had his stereo turned on loop playing blink 182’s hit single titled “adam’s song” which was a song about committing suicide. They did not get charged with anything, but they did get questioned about it. Blink 182 said it was just a simple mistake as an entertainer and they are very sorry about the incident.
