Chapter 1:
easy company just wanted to be part of something that was bigger than they were.
Not anybody could make it. You had to be a well trained soilder.
Most men didn’t want to be with men that weren’t well train, that’s why most joing the air born.
Solider where lerning more than to fire a rifle they were teaching the values.
All Major Richard Wintersof the 101st became comrades because they went trough the hardest of times together, they were ready to die for one an other.

Chapter 2:
Officer Winters had to train his men as if it were the real thing. Major Richard Wintersof Easy company had to know how to control the chute and fire a rife in combat.
Major Richard Wintersof the 101st airborne felt great after they earned their wings and the self confidence, they be came the elite.
Major Richard Winters and his men worked hard for the title but it could be taken away at any point if they weren’t doing the of their abilities.
Men had to stay sharp at all times.
Chapter 3:
Staff Sergeant Charles E. Grant and his men now were in the combat zone away from home
Officer Winters made his men adapt to where they were living, training got harder to teach them everything they needed to know.

Chapter 4:
The entire 101st regiment getting ready for what they were trained for. The Great Battle of Normandy
Some men were scared to go to war, some men went to desperate measures to get out of the war.
Nothing went the way it was ment to, word got out to the Germanys that the was going to be an attack and were waiting for it.
Easy company was dropped and everyone was scattered no one knew where the platoon was. But
Major Richard Winters gathered some men and proceeded to execute easy companies objective
Chapter 5:
Major Richard Winters and his men were all hurt from falling as such fast speeds.
All Major Richard Winters were landing were they weren’t supposed to. Many men lost important thing such as there crickets.
The Germans didn’t know where to put their troops
Americans bad drop became a positive.
Some men landed in rang of the enemy, men had to deal with who they had.
Easy was doing good with only one casualty.
Chapter 6:
Most of Major Richard Winters felt untouchable, felt like it couldn’t happen to them.
Sleep was hard because they had to stand guard 24/7
Men collected trophies after the deaths of Germans
They were all able to sleep after all they have been trough.
Men said I was wonderful to see the American flag on the beach, made them feel like they were actually doing something.
Chapter 7:
Many wounded men left and came back as soon as they could, some where afraid it would affect them when they got home.
Some men would write letters to family that would say they were affair they were going to die.
Major Richard Winters were affected of all the death they have seen, they had to keep going.
Major Richard Winters were able to watch movies and listen to the radio. Helped them keep moral up.
Men knew they were heading out, they got new equipment, but drops where always getting canceled

Chapter 9:
Easy company stayed quick and sharp. Men had watch 24/7
Patrols had to be spotters for artillery since they were on an island.
Then men felt like they were in a world war 1 movie fighting on a island.
Men weren’t happy with anything they had food or cigarettes.
Men had to be quite to take out enemy and they had to work as one.
Felt like everything was in slow motion.
Winters didn’t want any1 to treat the prisoners bad.
Chapter 10:
E company were able to rest again.
Men were recovering and coming back to duty and new recruits were being assigned
Men never volunteered but when asked they’d do it.
Battle of the bulge was a big step in the war. Many vehicles were destroyed.
Major Richard Winters were not armed well, didn’t have and winter clothing but they still kept going nothing was going to stop them.
Some men felt like running away.
Chapter 11:
Men where against the whether cold and wet,
Men were helping each other to not getting trench foot. No good food just K rations.
E company always looking forward to going home. Did anything to pass the time.
Nobody liked doing the dirty work but everyone knew it had to be done.
Easy needed to be resuplied but the whether was not going to let that happen.
Some men cant take it any more and want to go home.
101 were finally able to regroup with others, they were legends

Men were flying through the air.
The Germans slowed the Americans, finally completed there objective that has take over a month.
Men get word to move to the north towards the Germans.
Easy company wasn’t looking good, they were losing a lot of men.
No matter how untouched everybody had scars from what had happened.
Major Richard Wintersstayed true to each other and old made it through b/c they were a band of brothers.
It was like it wasn’t the original group of guys to many have died.
Chapter 14:
Major Richard Winters were getting to watch movies again. Able to take better showers and moral was up.
Men don’t like seeing things being destroyed but soldier enjoy it only because it one less place for the enemy to hide.
Men never thought about what was going to happen tomorrow.
Life was lived day to day hour to hour.
Men didn’t like when replacements cam in b/c that meant they were to fight for longer.
E company is chosen for every mission *they are the best of the best
*why is it that the replacements always die. Its like they don’t belong?
Chapter 15:
101st was finally in the back after all the time leading the way.
While being there they realized why nothing got to the front lines. Everyone would take extra.
After being in the back for a while Major Richard Winters went back to the front. They went back with a different mentality they went to do there jobs not to be heroes.
Chapter 16:
Americans were getting to know the enemy. They started to realized they have a lot in common with them.
They loved their country, even though they were at war.
Men felt like they were back in boot camp, something they never wanted to go again.
Major Richard Winters where reading up to head to take the fight to eagles nest.

Men were getting ready to take the eagles nest.
Easy company didn’t care about what others thought there were going to take what they need to win the war.
They were ready to go home after they have been living in and out of fox wholes for a long time.
Men started to celebrate and drink champagne and joke around.
Men where happy that they were going to live and be able to go back to their families.
