In the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxely, they have two worlds; the new
world people are made from tubes and the reservation they are born naturally. I
believe that there is a connection through the government in Brave New World,
1984, and the video clip on you-tube. The government seems very powerful and
manipulating in all three and the video definitely shows how the government has
this power and how they use it. I believe that every government had a strategy in
these three sources and it shows us in the books how they used their strategies.
In Brave New World I see that the government has these chemical machines
that make humans in the New World and it makes them like the cold and dislikes
the hot (Huxely).
The government has control over people already if they can
make them in tubes and make them dumb. Why would we want the government
to control us? How will this help there economy succeed? All they want is them
to feel satisfied all the time. They never really have had anything they do not
want. They always use soma for happiness they never really know what
unsatisfied is. They are handed everything to them. They work but it does not
seem boring because they are made to be stupid. What kind of government
does this? Obviously this author wanted to show us how the government will turn
out to be in the future and the future is not really looking good. Many people
The Essay on World and Its People 3rd Edition
Stalin was a military dictator whose radical ideas weakened Russia but industrialized it very fast and turned the people hard workers by oppressing them. * Stalin was highly paranoid and persecuted many of his top officials and supporters * People who moved to the cities, worked enthusiastically, and asked no questions could hope to rise into the upper ranks of the Communist Party * Cultural and ...
have different beliefs and you are just born with different families. If you are born
in the New World you do not have a family but if you were born in the reservation
you have a family. The government as you can see is scheming the New World
because who else would have the power to make babies from chemical
machines (Huxely)! This book is wicked and confusing but I see how the
government wants to rule the world. It takes peoples minds and just makes them
stupid and happy. There really are not many people there who are unsatisfied.
Everyone in the New World is supposed to feel good and to be really happy. This
government wants to feel and have the power to control this New World so that
they can start ruling the world. I see how they do this by making them want soma
and making them think sleeping around is normal and getting pregnant is bad.
Also, there is a lot of manipulating that the government does. They have soma
that makes the people feel good and just be lazy. They really emphasize on the
soma. Everyday they have soma like with every meal and snack. Soma is how
they get the people to do what they want. The government is very manipulating
when it comes to wanting to be more powerful. This government has a lot of
control/ manipulating over this New World and many people can see how and
why.
In the book 1984 I see how the government controls their controls by taking
over and in Brave New World it is the same thing. 1984 the government makes
the history a lie and make everyone believe them and torture them into thinking
whatever the government wanted them to think (Orwell).
The two governments in
these books are very similar. They both want to rule the world and take over.
They want to feel the power and they can taste it already. This book also shows
the readers how the government in European should have been or how it was.
Origins of World War II – Book Review
Origins of World War II - Book Review Essay submitted by scott World War II was much more than battles, statistics, politics, and opinions. The things that contributed to its beginning, what happened during the war, and the effects of the war are still being debated and discussed. Patrick Finney assembles some of the best writings for a number of subjects relating to World War II. First the reader ...
People did not have a lot of freedom in this country (Orwell).
People were
miserable and did not have fun. Everything was not real (food) and no one had
relationships (Orwell).
The government in this book is really cruel and this is how
governments want to be. They want to be in control all the time this is why we
have wars and no one wants to be civil and have peace. Many people are
working everyday and they are not getting much pay. The government is using
them as slaves so they can become successful in the world. I see how this can
come across some people and it may make them a little upset but this is what
the government thinks that this will help their power become more so they can
rule the world. Not many people actually like this government but the rest feel
like this government should really change and be more lean it. When they try to
change the history they manipulate the people by telling them things over and
over that are basically the same and just repeat every so year. They tell them
what they want them to believe and they influence them by that. The
government is really great at manipulating their people and they use a lot of bull
crap in it. These governments in these two books show a lot of similarities.
In the you-tube video it talks about how the government is in control this
also ties with Brave New World and 1984. It also shows how manipulating the
government is when it comes to school. Apparently it is just based on your age
and not really how smart you are (Sir).
The government is using it like an
assembly line and that how it was kind of in Brave New World. They used people
to push a button and stamp things. They did not really need to be smart so the
government manipulated them into being dumb. The video shows us how the
government works when it comes to schooling. They just get rid of us like an
assembly line. We go through school from elementary school to middle school to
high school and maybe college and it’s your age that tells you what
grade you are in. When you pass all these different levels of school they send
The Term Paper on Representative Governments People Majority Vote
A representative democracy is a type of government where people elect someone to represent their views. These governments are usually democracies in large nations with great populations, so not every citizen is able to vote on every issue. Over time it has been debated whether or not these democracies represent the powerful few or the majority of the nations people. The people who believe that it ...
you on your way to go and work. All these books and videos have great
similarities and they all have great points that when readers read it or watch it
they get what they want to say. Many governments want to be in command of
their country because it just seems pretty easy to do and it does not take that
much work ethic to do.
I believe that the government should not manipulate their country or force
them to do what they want them to do we need opinions and we need different
ideas for our country we cannot have one ruler with one opinion rule this world.
We have laws and propositions that also come from the people so we can have
a great government that listens to their people. Many governments should see
how the people want things and adjust them and not just say one thing and just
go by that. I also believe that governments should not have all the power to
everything. I think there are many different things that can help the government
become more powerful if they just heard what the people want. If governments
did not oblige people to do things maybe things would have been a little
smoother but the governments have their opinions and so do I.
