Tupac changes For those of you who don’t know who tu pac is he is a famous rap artist who has written and sang many songs such as: Unborn child, until the end of time and lie homies They have been great many rumours that he had been shot after watching Mike Tyson fight, but then again that is just a rumour he was seen at Beverly Hills on the 2 nd of April with sure night. His full name if Tupac amaru shaker. Now I am going to talk about the song Tupac changes. Tupac amaru expresses his feeling, thoughts and ideas by talking about what he’s recently seen in society which is more or less about discrimination, poverty and prejudices.
He also talks about how much he hates life that’s why he uses a rhetorical question at the start which makes the listener want to join in. In the songs he implies he doesn’t like being black because he thinks that black people get a lot of grief from society or that because they black they stand out and that people keep perv ing on them. The song is originally written by Bruce Hornsby a singer from the 1980’s but of course the lyrics are different, the modulations of the singers are also different, tu pac sings in an aggressive tone where as Bruce Hornsby sings in a mild non-aggressive sort of way. The song has a catchy riff which is known as that’s just the way it is or the phrase changes.
Both the songs of Bruce Hornsby and tu pac amaru shakers send out the same message of the song which is things just never change they talk about what they ” ve been experiencing, he talks in the first person. 2 pac makes his beat more prominent plus the main thing he is saying is unfairness never changes it always stays the same and its true things just never change. The discrimination is also the same and I don’t think much has changed since 1996 jus technology. he feels as if he didn’t want to change from being a kid which indicates that he hates changes he prefers his past from his childhood rather than being older. He talks about racism which I think he is indicating that towards the slave trade. I think he still has feelings of the unfairness that had been took place at the time of the slave trade.

he thinks revenge is sweet because he says never get to lay back ” Cause I always got to worry ’bout the pay backs some buck that I roughed up way back This shows his real character that’s he’s a true thug, no wonder he’s faking his death. So overall tu pac discovered the song rather than making up the idea. it was written by Bruce Hornsby, so you could see the comparisons between those two elements, discrimination, prejudice, past – present, something’s never change. Now does anybody have any questions? ? ?.
