If I had to come up with a creative way to make someone confess to a murder, I would start by scaring him or her into thinking people already knows. What Hamlet did to get his uncle to get him to confess was a very cleaver plan. I would start by researching the best way to go about getting Hamlets uncle to confess. I would take my strategy from an episode of Sinfield. In the episode Jerry knows that George is keeping a secret from him that Elaine told George. When they are alone Jerry tells George that Elaine already told him about it so Jerry confesses that it s true. What happens is Jerry says to George while Elaine is in the room, I can t believe you did that , Elaine blurts out, why did you tell him? . This let s Jerry know that it is true. I would use the same strategy as above to make Hamlets mom and uncle confess that they plotted the murder of Hamlet s Father, the king. By scaring them into think that people already know, for example I would tell Hamlet s uncle that everyone know he is acting strange, and that there are suspicions of murder. This would make Hamlet s Uncle very nervous. I would also tell him that Hamlet s mom has be acting strange and that she has been seen crying and acting very nervous around Hamlet s Father s grave.
When they were both are very scared and nervous I would tell Hamlet s Uncle that Hamlet s Mother couldn t take the guilt anymore and told me that they had committed the murder. When Hamlet s Uncle began to say why did you tell him or just admit it cause he thought he was caught, well he would be falling right into the trap that I had created.
