Okonkwo Fear has a strong ability to control a man’s fate. In the novel ‘Things Fall Apart’ it is evident that Okonkwo’s fear of being weak leads to his excile. China Achebe’s novel was set in Eastern Niagara in the late 19 th century at a time of their colonization by the British. Throughout the novel Okonkwo demonstrates that he doesn’t wont to be like his father, Eze udu.
