When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains. When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited.
We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were.
There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave.
The Essay on Worlds Strictest Parents
The clip starts with a narration explaining the contents of the show. The clip then changes from shots of different families. The families are all dressed smart, with good posture showing that they are well behaved. However, the parents are standing separately to the children which may show how the parent’s strict attitude may affect their relationship badly. The music is fast, however the ...
I was so mad at them for making me leave that they had to carry me out. When we were leaving Disney World I told my parents that I did not ever want to leave. Going to the beach was nothing like going to the lake or swimming pool. The ocean had large waves that would come crashing into the beach. I was so small that the waves would just throw me around. I also got to walk down the beach and find different objects that the waves had washed up on shore. I found seashells that had brilliant colors like the rainbow.
I even found a creature that looked like pink jelly. I picked the creature up with a stick and took it to show my dad. My dad told me that it was a jellyfish that could sting me, so he made me bury it in the sand. I saw another creature that was gliding in shallow water. It was dark brown with a long tail and looked like it had wings. It was a horrible looking creature that I had never seen before.
My dad came down to the water to see what I was looking at. He told me that they were called skates, and they would not hurt me. That was the first time I saw something living in the ocean besides a fish. My dad then showed me that there were little creatures called, sand fiddlers, which would wash up when the waves crashed into the shore. We sat down on the sand so he could show me how to catch them. The sand fiddlers would dig down in the sand fast as lightning, so we had to dig for them fast as we could.
When I caught one it felt like it was trying to dig into your hand with what seemed like a million legs. After about four hours I was exhausted and starving. I started to wine about my hunger pains and all the sand in my bathing suit. My parents then knew it was time for us to leave. I had never been to the mountains so I did not know what to expect. I thought it was going to be boring and there would be nothing to do.
However, shortly later I started feeling excited as we drove through the winding and narrow roads. I thought this was so much fun. It was fall so the trees looked amazing. The trees were a wide variety of colors including bright red, yellow, and orange. My parents took us hiking on a mountain called Chimney Rock. We were in for a big surprise.
I started off having a fun time because I saw waterfalls that looked amazing. I was able to swim at a place were the waterfall ran off. My brother and I slid down a gigantic rock that had water flowing down the rock. It was exactly like being at a water park. Then we started to hike. We hiked for hours before ever reaching the top point.

My brother and I were exhausted. My parents thought it was a short hike, but it turned out to be a journey. We finally managed to make it to the top of the mountain. The view was nice, but I did not think this long hike was worth all the pain. We still were not done once we reached the top, because we had to hike back down the mountain. This was the worst part, because my toes were digging into the front part of my shoes. My brother and I started to cry about half way down. I told my parents that one of them had to carry me, because my legs and feet were worn out. However, they could not carry me because they were so tired from the hike too. We finally made it down this huge mountain.
Then we went to a shop where my parents bought me a shirt that said, “I climbed Table Rock.” They bought me this shirt, so I would never forget this mountain. I never knew that mountain would leave me with a lasting memory like it did. I hope I will always remember going to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains. These trips with my parents have made a few wonderful memories. When my parents ask me to go on a trip now I never say no. I still thank my parents for taking me on those wonderful trips because of the lasting impression they have on me..
