In the Northeast and Cental China lies the Great Wall of China. The early Chinese started to build the Great Wall of China in 700 B.C. It took 300,000 slaves to complete it. When the slaves died the slave drivers buried them in the base of the Great Wall as fill. The Chinese have stories that tell of lost loves and families.
The inside of the wall is made of earth and rubble. Stone and bricks held together by motar on the outside. So that means it was made from bricks, motar, stone, rubble, and earth. On top there is enough room for ten solders to walk in a row.
The Great Wall was made to keep the enemies of the Chinesse out of China. It collasped at one piont because of age and earthquacks. Now it is used for a torist attraction Because of our advanced technology. We could just drop bombs from a plane.
The Great Wall’s main part is 2,150 miles long. Yet, the whole wall is 4,600 miles. It’s height is 20- 30 feet, IT is 25 feet wide at the base and20 at the top.
