Tang Dynasty (?? pinyin: tangchao) (June 18, 618 June 4, 907 AD) is known as the most prosperous period in China history. Tang Dynasty was followed by restoration of armies, political life and administration. The period witnessed the dominancy of peace and order in the country.
Tang Dynasty was created in 618 AD by Li Yuan. His son, Emperor Li Shimin (626-649 AD) has shown himself as a progressive politician who brought China to the epoque of flourishing and prosperity. During Tang Dynasty period China witnessed modernization and reached its golden age. It was the period of political stability before An Lushan rebellion, territorial expansion, cultural flourish, to mention a few. At this period China developed cultural and economic relations with other countries (Japan, Korea, India, Persia, Arabia, etc).
