Christian Science Monitor and World Net Daily. The problem of illegal immigration to U.S. has become very acute in this country. It is estimated that there are about 12 million illegal immigrants live in America, which mostly consist of Mexicans. Many naive people in U.S. suggest that illegal immigrants need to be given a chance of becoming American citizens.
Political populists exploit this topic to raise their popularity rating among Hispanics. However, the majority of ordinary Americans are strongly against turning their country into a part of Third World. Even today, every large American city has a so-called ghetto areas, where White folks do not even risk setting foot, which are populated by the people that we strongly associate with diversity. Garbage on the streets, drug dealers openly selling cocaine, almost total unemployment this is the normal way of life for the people who were supposed to culturally enrich our country. Once Mexicans obtain a legal status in America, they rarely bother to work. Instead, they simply begin to multiply, while often giving birth to as many as 10 kids.
This allows them to collect welfare money from the government, which they spend on drugs, while their kids grow up on the streets, when it is only the matter of time, before they become drug dealers. It is the ultimate reason why Mexico has always remained a poor country. More and more citizens in U.S. do realize that it is up to them to protect the integrity of this country by joining the ranks of militia, since our government has failed to effectively address the issue of illegal immigration. We constantly get to hear that it is simply impossible to deport illegal Mexicans to where they came from, because there are just too many of them. This is nothing but excuse that our government uses to conceal its political impotency.
The Essay on The Americans Government American People
1. Boors tin highlights four societies that existed in the early years of American civilization. These societies are the New England Puritans, Quakers of Pennsylvania, Georgians, and the Virginians. The Puritans was a society based thoroughly upon religion. They were devout Calvinists, with their conservatism government also based around these beliefs. The families and communities in New England ...
Illegals could be gathered up and deported from here within a week, if government officials were committed to serving people who elected them. All it is required, on the part of our bureaucrats, is little bit of political will. However, as citizens, we cannot simply wait until our government brings sanity into American immigration laws, while watching our country being destroyed by the people who come here not to benefit it but to exploit. This is why, many communities in the areas close to Mexican border, try to reduce the influx of an unwanted guests by denying them Medicare services and by forming a militia groups that are meant to actually maintain the social order, since police is clearly incapable of doing this. I personally think that it is time to take drastic measures against these unwelcome guests, who want to become masters in our own house. In 1954, before the hysterical proponents of political correctness instilled White people with a sense of self-guilt, President Eisenhower found a very effective way of how to deal with illegals.
They were rounded up, beaten to death and thrown back into Mexico. After this, they rarely wanted to come back, because they were getting a hint that they are not wanted in America. Today, these parasites are being arrested and then set free, so that they can roam our cities, while adding to the rise of a crime rate in this country. What is especially disgusting is the fact that some Americans became brainwashed to such a degree that they feel sorry for poor Mexicans. The two articles, we are going to analyze in this paper, are about citizens organizing themselves in militia groups, in order to protect their cities from illegals. In his article, States Preempt U.S.
on Immigration, which can be found in Christian Science Monitor newspaper from June 15, 2007, Faye Bowers describes a socio-political situation in Arizona, where many cities come up with their own initiatives of how to deal with unwanted guests: More than 90 cities or counties have proposed, passed, or rejected laws prohibiting landlords from leasing to illegal immigrants, penalizing businesses that employ undocumented workers, or training local police to enforce federal immigration laws (Bowers).
The Term Paper on Illegal Aliens Immigration Immigrants Country
Beware! America is being invaded by aliens! Not the little, green, Martian type you see in science fiction movies, but the real thing. I'm talking about the illegal type who come in every day and every night, by land and by sea. Estimates have shown that as many as 500, 000 illegal aliens make it across the border every year (Morganthau 67). Illegal immigration causes many problems in the United ...
Christian Science Monitor is considered the voice of Bible thumpers in this country. It has been traditionally promoting a right-wing political agenda, but in recent times, the accents in newspapers articles are being shifted towards political correctness. In the above-mentioned article, illegals are being referred to in rather abstract terms. Author recognizes the fact that illegal immigration to U.S. must be stopped, but he does in politically-neutral manner, which cannot stir any controversy. Christians have always been known for their lack of insight, when it comes to discussing the matters of political importance, and Bowers article proves the validity of this statement better than anything else.
However, we can agree with author in general it is perfectly legal for the citizens in southern states to begin arming themselves with weapons, because this is the only way for them to feel safe, while watching the hordes of border jumpers passing their windows on daily basis. Another article Minutemen Catch 141 Illegals so Far is available at the web site of World Net Daily. In it, Bob Park shows that deployment of citizens militia along the border significantly reduces the numbers of illegal aliens that are able to sneak into the country: The Minuteman Project is having an impact. Smugglers have told the Mexican press that crossing in the area where the Minutemen are patrolling is now virtually impossible and they have to go elsewhere or wait 30 days until the Minutemen are gone (Park).
Comparing to the article in Christian Science Monitor, Parks article makes much better impression, because it does not contain politically correct motives. Illegal Mexicans in it are being referred to as what they really are a parasites, who will never be able to integrate into American society, without undermining its integrity. This proves once again that Internet is much less affected by the corporate culture than printed Medias. While most of printed newspapers in U.S.
The Term Paper on Immigration Reform 7
Some people say that illegal immigration benefits the US economy through additional tax revenue, expansion of the low-cost labor pool, and increased money in circulation. They contend that immigrants bring good values, have motivations consistent with the American dream, perform jobs that Americans won’t take, and that opposition to immigration stems from racism. Opponents of illegal immigration ...
are owned by the handful of Media magnates, who use them as means of promoting their own secular agendas, online newspapers and Internet sites express more objectivity, when discussing political matters. Unlike Bowers, whose article does not provide readers with a clear idea about authors own position, in regards to illegal immigration, Park leaves no doubt that catching Mexicans and deporting them is only the option. Thus, even though both articles talk about the same issue and agree on what should be done for the American immigration policy to begin benefiting this country, as it used to be the case, Bowers outlook on the problem is clearly lacking a depth.
