The Cloning Essay When you hear the word cloning, you know that its going to start a debate. This is because people are greatly divided on whether its good or bad. A way to reach a conclusion is to look at cloning from ethical, risk, and religious perspectives. The reality is, cloning is unethical, very risky, and irreligious. The arguments I will make will hopefully convince you that cloning is not good for the future. Cloning is very unethical.
It would be violating the human rights in many ways. It would be violating of the freedom of beliefs and thoughts Cloning also reduces human dignity. Humans can be sold as manufactured products. If we allow that, we would be violating others human rights. One of them is that no one should be held in slavery or servitude. Cloning also threatens individuality and uniqueness.
Life would be very dull considering the fact that everyone would have the same personality. If we follow this to the future, one wouldnt want to live in that kind of world. The process of cloning involves killing a great number of embryos; which one also find unethical. Furthermore, cloning would be playing God. God has already devised a good and proper plan to make babies. Why mess with it? If god doesnt want you to have babies, then you shouldnt have babies, its as simple as that. At least to the majority of the believers in God. An argument could be put forth that curing someone is interfering with Gods plan. My reply to that would be that it is not because curing someone is far more different that creating a new life and tampering with the way god created life.
The Essay on Is Cloning Of Humans Just
Recently there was a major breakthrough in the scientific research the mapping of all DNA in a human gene is complete. Couple of years ago, this seems an impossible task for scientist to triumph over. All this revolution in science leads us to believe that the day, when the human being will be cloned, is not far away. Human cloning has always been an issue of controversy, be it in terms of ...
We should try to stick with Gods rules and his natural order instead of trying to make Gods rules. If we do interfere with this, well interfere with natural evolution. If we interfere with natural evolution than who knows what other problems might occur? Cloning is a big step for the future, and everyone who defends cloning is too caught up with this new process of making new life, and not thinking about the consequences. Some of you dont know that killer bees were created by scientists. These scientists were too caught up with the bees, trying to make them better. But the bees escaped and turned out to be very dangerous. Killer bees have killed more than a 1000 people.
This is an example of the consequences of playing god. Cloning animals or humans would be very risky. Cloning is very unpredictable. Therefore no one can estimate exactly how risky cloning can be. We have already used a lot of animals in crazy experiments and none of them succeeded. Yes, even Dolly.
Many of you think Dolly, the first animal to be cloned wasnt really successful. Dolly became sick and was put to rest. Another point which often people overlook or try to hide is that in the making of Dolly, about 277 attempts were unsuccessful. So youll have an unsure success of %2.77. In one US study using cows, 4 of 12 surrogate mothers died from pregnancy complications. About three years ago, the scientist test on a mouse.
They found out that the cloned mouse became obese as an adult for no apparent reason. In addition, experts say cloned animals often develop abnormalities. Cloning is a very powerful matter; so powerful that it can cause world crises. Millions can be killed because of cloning. A virus can spread around the world like a bush fire. In closing, cloning is not good for the future. We must all accept that mistakes happen.
But mistakes on priceless things such humans and animals should be avoided. Cloning has proven to be unethical, incredibly risk, and blasphemous. I believe cloning is morally and socially unacceptable..
