Depletion of Natural Resources
Man is exploiting the natural resources excessively as part of his existence. The main causes of depletion of natural resources are:
-population growth
-deforestation
-natural calamities like flood and drought
-over consumption of natural resources
-pollution
As population increases the depletion of natural resource will also increase. It is because of the necessary activities of man. Man over exploit natural resources for his comforts. This can ultimately lead to the scarcity of these resources in the near future. This can ultimately threaten the existence of life on the earth. Deforestation causes the decrease of rainfall and amount of firewood. Due to this, 200 crores of people suffer from the scarcity of water. Besides this, man over consuming the available source of water. This activity will definitely affect future generations. When human population increases, the use of natural resources also increases. Man over exploits natural resource for his comfort. This may lead to scarcity of these resources in the near future. This can ultimately threaten the existence of life on earth. Man is a virus that destroys the resources, as cancer destroys the humans. Need to Conserve Natural Resources
The Essay on What Makes Man Truly Human?
In understanding how can man be truly human, first is the reason for the human freedom and this freedom is the most important aspect of making human truly human. One of the most important problems with which we have to deal in our reflections on man, and one which constantly recurs, is the problem of man’s freedom. The problem has aroused innumerable discussions, not only among philosophers ...
Natural resources are very important for our survival. But in recent years our Natural Resources are slowly vanishing by means of people who abuse it because they do not know the limitations of it. Abusing it can cause food shortage and can also cause Global Warming .Once it has been totally vanished our life would come to an end. We need to conserve our Natural Resources because it is the main source of our daily needs. We need to conserve it because they are limited only.
And if these resources are abused and harmed, we will have short quantity of sources for food and living. At the same time, we can also be harmed. Because when illegal loggers log the trees endlessly in mountains, the rain that falls on mountain will not be absorbed by the trees, then it can cause mudslides that can affect those who lives on mountainside. Population explosion in last few decades has put a lot of pressure on our Natural Resources and this has led to over exploitation. The greatest reason and answer to the question “Why do we need to conserve our Natural Resources?” is simply because, God made us. And God generously gave these Natural Resources to us humans for us to take care of it and consume it wisely and so we have to take care of what God had given us.
Conservation of Natural Resources
Conservation is the protection, improvement, and wise use of natural resource to provide the greatest social and economic value for the present and the future. Indiscriminate use of natural resources will be a threat even to the existence of man. But it doesn’t mean that we should not use natural resources. We cannot live without these natural resources. So we must use them patiently and have to conserve it. We can conserve them by practicing the 4Rs. The 4Rs are: 1. Reduce- By initially using less, we help to conserve valuable resources such as water and energy. Easy ways to reduce your consumption is opting to print double sided or use a canvas bag when shopping. 2. Reuse- A conscious consumer purchases durable products that are meant to last as opposed to disposables which add to the waste stream. If you find a new use for an item or someone else who could use it give it a second life instead of throwing it away. 3. Recycle- Recycling conserves resources by keeping them in circulation, reducing the depletion of non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels and mineral ores. 4. Refuse-[from book]
