Trade Center Attacks Many people were affected by the bombings because of the economic, physical, and emotional effects that it had on people. Our local area, states, and nation were all affected by this tragedy and everyone around the world knew about it. I feel that more money should have been put or should be put into the losses that the country experienced in the attacks. Some of the ways people were affected by this was also by losing loved ones.
This not only kept thousands of people out of work and school but left businesses without workers and insurance companies to pay for all the damage done. This put the country into an economic crisis. Many of the nations leading companies were put to the test when this happened because of the number of businesses that were in the World Trade Center. Five major points of economic impact were the human and physical capital, disruption of economic activities, shift in the confidence of consumers, and allocation of resources in the longer run.
According to a world economic and social survey the longer run consequences are likely to be of greater economic significance than the immediate effects. Our economy slowed down for a few weeks and even months when this happened. Not only did it effect the economy but other parts like the military and political persons. It amplified the already existing uncertainties about the short-term global outlook. This meaning that everyone is now stepping back to look at the different possibilities that could come of this. This also affected other countries as well.
The Term Paper on The Economic Situation Of The Country We Live In Plays
The economic situation of the country we live in plays an important, I would say the most important, role in our every day living. It has been proved by many sociologists that even the way we think, perceive, and behave is affected by our financial status or the status of the society we live in. As everything in this world never remains static, so is the economy it constantly develops and changes. ...
Different regions of the world are likely to feel the negative impacts of the slowdown. Other negative impact tat this tragedy had on our nation includes the psychological effects that it had on people. Reports that 52% felt depressed and 62% had restless sleep. People are now thinking about the possibilities of tragedy striking again. This puts fear into the hearts of the people that are going to be traveling and are taking plane trips. The airline industry was drastically affected and hundreds of flights have been canceled.
Fear concerning personal safety, the safety of loved ones and the country, as a whole was something that was the worst for the country to deal with. There is also fear about the safety of the fire, police, and search and rescue personnel. Grief for all those who lost their lives and for those who have to deal with the aftermath of the destruction is time consuming and left the country in a state of shock. I feel that more money should have been used to go into the companies that lost money causing the drop in work and income. Instead of using most of the money to drop bombs over the country of Afghanistan, we should have used it to bring up new business and let people start over. The country chose to use the money in a battle and all of it is gone now.
Some of the positive things that came from this also include the unity that this country was missing. Much more positive attitudes toward being an American and toward accepting diversity are also something that came out of this.
