Data analysis:
Figure 1 is a pie chart which shows the reasons why people had visited Cambridge. It illustrates whether tourists in Cambridge, at the time I collected my data, were there to visit the regenerated areas e.g. shopping or café/restaurant or to visit the more historical attractions e.g. university colleges or museums. I found that the majority of respondents went shopping. This shows that these tourists were not there for the history of Cambridge but were there to visit the regenerated areas, for example like the grand arcade. This figure relates to my hypothesis as it shows whether Cambridge is a honeypot site due to some of the areas in which people had visited.
Figure 2 which is a complex scatter graph; which compares two different types of data that I collected. It shows at each data collection point what my EQS score was and how many people were at those data collection points during my pedestrian count; these two results are then compared on the graph. These two particular types of data were compared as it shows whether the quality of the environment depends on the area or the amount of people within that area. This also refers to my hypothesis as it shows conservation of certain areas (the areas with a higher quality environment) and whether the more conserved areas are conserved due to their historical attractions or their regenerated areas.
The Essay on Rural Area City One People
Your Land and My Land There are many differences in a city when compared to a rural setting. One of the largest differences deals with that of the visual surroundings. Cities are filled with buildings, streets traffic and people, while the country is filled with trees, mountains, streams and animals. With such commotion in this city-type setting, the natural environment is altered a great deal. ...
Figure 3 is a flow line map which shows the number of respondents from the questionnaire results that I collected that was from international countries. I found that the majority of tourists were domestic tourists when collecting my results. I took a sample of 100 respondents and only 22 were from abroad. This suggests that Cambridge mainly attracts domestic tourism. Also there wasn’t a wide variety of different countries that tourists came from; there were only 5 different countries. This could possibly mean that the Cambridge is not that accessible to tourists outside of the UK. Also it shows that an area like Cambridge does not appeal to international tourist’s as much as domestic tourists. Having a larger number of domestic tourists, suggests that some of the people that I collected my data from, may not have been at Cambridge to visit any attractions of regenerated areas, but were there to study as universities or to work.
Figure 4 is a photograph of Cambridge which shows several things. It shows a historical attraction within that area which is the Kings College, this particular attraction creates tourism within Cambridge as it draws tourists in due to its history. This then supports the hypothesis as it shows that some areas do show that Cambridge is a honeypot site. Figure 4 also shows conservation and shows that the area has been pedestrianized; this is shown as there is a car stopper in the middle of the road. It is also shown by the amount of bicycles that are in the photo. It suggests that people are considering the environment when travelling around Cambridge and are attempting to conserve the area as much as possible. There are also attractive green areas, which indicated several things; it shows that there is less pollution and that the area is more attractive to create more tourism.
Figure 5 is a photograph of the Grand Arcade in Cambridge. This is a regenerated area in Cambridge. This shows that Cambridge is not only about its historical attractions and that tourists do not only visit the history of Cambridge but visit the more regenerated areas. The grand arcade is a popular regenerated area to tourists and creates tourism in Cambridge. The photo also shows two types of conservation to area. One being a large litter bin next to a bus stop, this is showing that Cambridge are also trying to look after the regenerated areas as well as the historical attractions by putting bins where a large amount of tourists would generally be. Also, there is 2 bikes parked up against some sort of pole. This shows that many people are using more environmentally friendly transport to move around Cambridge. This refers to my hypothesis as it shows that there are also regenerated areas in Cambridge as well as historical. It also shows that areas like the grand arcade are looked after as much as an area of history such as Kings College.
The Essay on Robert Redford For Wax Figure
Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is getting ready to open in New York soon (McShane B3). It consists of perfect replicas of all sorts of celebrities from Larry King to Meryl Streep. One celebrity that would be a good candidate for the museum is Robert Redford. Throughout the years, he has proven that he is successful in acting, in directing, and in community activism. These are the areas that make him ...
Figure 6, a bar graph showing how people travelled to Cambridge show the accessibility of Cambridge. It shows that, there are many ways to get to Cambridge and that tourists use a variety of transport to do so. It shows that the majority of people travelled to Cambridge by car. This could possibly mean that the majority of people were domestic tourists and had not come from far to get to Cambridge.
Arguments for and against my hypothesis:
Figure 1, pie chart showing why people visited Cambridge supports figure 2 (scatter graph).
On figure 2 it shows that at data collection point two, which was the grand arcade a regenerated area, my pedestrian count was the highest. Also it shows that the majority of respondents in figure 1 went shopping or to a café/restaurant, which are also regenerated areas. This does not support my hypothesis, as it shows that tourists have visited Cambridge to visit the regenerated areas and not the historical attractions. Meaning they have not visited because of the history within Cambridge, showing not all areas prove it is a honeypot site. However some of my results from these two figures do support my hypothesis. The comparison between the two results of my pedestrian count and my EQS score shows whether the amount of people within that area or the type of area it is depends on the quality of the environment. At data collection point one which was along Kings Parade (location of Kings College a historical attraction), my pedestrian count was fairly high, and this was the point where my EQS was the highest. This shows that although there were a lot of people, as this was a historical area it is conserved to make it the environmental quality higher to look after the historical attraction. The area with the lowest EQS score (data collection point 2) was an area that had been regenerated. This shows that the regenerated areas are not conserved. Also at this area my pedestrian count was the highest, showing that the more people in the area the lower the quality of the environment.
The Essay on Tourists People Tourist Don
There are many definitions for the word "tourist." The known definition of a tourist is a person that travels for pleasure and isn't born in the place they travel to. To some people, the tourists that come to Nantucket may be very annoying, rude, dirty, and smelly and they are not native to the island. While others may think they are nice, friendly, and very generous people that just weren't born ...
Figure 3, a flow line map showing international respondents and figure 4, a photograph both show the accessibility of the area. 22 respondents from the questionnaire were international tourists. This shows that tourism in Cambridge is popular to domestic tourists and less popular to international tourists and shows that Cambridge is easily accessible to people all around the world but more accessible to domestic tourists. Figure 4 also shows the accessibility of Cambridge. However this shows the accessibility around Cambridge itself. This is shown as the image shows that the area has been pedestrianized, showing conservation of the area due to its historical attractions and encouraging a higher quality environment. Also, the photo shows bicycles parked up against the fence, this shows that as the area is pedestrianized locals use bicycles as a form of environmentally friendly transport. The accessibility of Cambridge supports my hypothesis and agrees that Cambridge is a honeypot site, this is because as the areas have been pedestrianized the conservation of the areas shows that there is history within that area. The areas that have are conserved within Cambridge are the areas with historical attractions and the areas that are regenerated do not show any conservation as they have a lower environmental quality (this is shown in figure 2).
Conclusion:
To conclude the analysis of my data that I collected, my data shows a variety of arguments for and against my hypothesis of Cambridge being a honeypot site because of its history. In figure 1 the largest amount of respondents said that went there, visited Cambridge they went shopping. In figure 2 my pedestrian count was the highest at data collection point 2 which were where the regenerated areas were for example like the grand arcade for shopping. This rejects my hypothesis as it shows that the majority of tourists that had visited Cambridge were not there because of its history. However, in figure 1, many respondents from the questionnaire said they visited Cambridge because of attractions like universities and museums. Also in figure 2 there was still a high pedestrian count for the area in which had history and a historical attraction.
The Essay on A Brief Summary Of Jesus As A Figure In History And From Jesus To Christ
In the past few decades many changes have occurred in the way scholars approach the study of Jesus. The main idea shifted from undisputable belief type of analysis to critical one, which analyses the person of Christ from the scientific and historical point of view. This popular subject finds its followers in many spheres of our cultural life: books, movies, and even music. During the semester I ...
