Dear Mr. and Mrs. Brady: As you know, Tiny Tots day care is an institution with eight years of experience. We have grown from being a small center with six children only to now taking care of 65 children and having a waiting list of 78 more children. That is why we value our reputation very much and try to be the best in our industry. Each childs wellbeing and comfort while being at our day care center are crucially important to us. We work very hard at creating family-like surroundings, which provide best atmosphere for every childs successful development. Our philosophy is to teach children to be respectful, tactful and responsible members of the society.
We believe that every situation can be resolved in a peaceful manner, without application of any punishments or any other unpleasant procedures. Regretfully, your son Brett has had several conflicts with other children while spending time at our day care center. These conflicts have been far more than just verbal, they employed some very unfortunate physical activities, where your son caused such injuries as scratches, kicks, pulled hair and even application of stitches to other children. All of this is very unfortunate to us, but even more so to other parents, who are in fear that their children will be injured again. Having worked for eight years in this business, we have never experienced a situation like this one before. Our previous conferences with you did not seem to have any effect, and Bretts aggressive behavior progressed, causing more fights and conflicts within our ever-peaceful institution. As you understand, this situation worries all staff members very much, as we have already had complaints from other parents, who intend to pull their children from our institution if nothing changes.

This causes harm to the reputation of our business, as well as undermines our educational philosophy. We cannot allow any more conflicts and would like to become the friendly, peaceful and safe Tiny Tots Day Care again. For this reason, I am afraid, we have to expel Brett from our center. We feel that your sons character is different from our other childrens and it is possible that he needs other surrounding, which will satisfy his needs of an active, very physically-developed and energetic child. I would suggest that you view the alternatives of more sports-oriented centers it might be a great solution for your family. As adults, we need to understand that every child is unique and it is our goal to find a suitable environment for him. Our day care center is not ideal for Brett, but that does not mean other center with other education approach will not be.
Tiny Tots Day Care and all of its staff members wish the very best to your family and your son Brett. Despite several non-pleasant moments, it was pleasure to know and work with you. We will be happy to assist with any advices or recommendations, if necessary. Sincerely, Alice Smith Tiny Tots Day Care General Manager.
