Some people also feel like they are a part of these groups at a young age because of there parents beliefs yet most people in the United States do not affiliate them selves with one peculiar party. Both the Democratic and Republican parties have decentralized organization witch means there is no real center and the parties believes are spread out all over the United States. Today the Democrats and the Republicans are also less dependent on their parties for money and organization, as a result of not needing as much from the group the strength of the political parties have declined. You can also join either party without signing anything or telling anyone all you have to do is decide you are going to be either a Democrat or a Republican.
