And in conclusion, the education requirements to become a dental hygienist are available as two-year programs at community colleges and universities and some universities have three-year programs, the post-secondary programs are taking an exam from the NBDHE and graduating from an education program licensed by American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation, and the reason am I interested in becoming a dental hygienist is because of the variety of workplace options there is and the activities they participate in.
