Being a celebrity/famous person comes with its’ advantages and disadvantages which can make living life very difficult at times. Let’s look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of being a celebrity/famous person. Some of the advantages of being a famous person are as follows: Famous people have everything they can possibly want such as fast cars, big houses, money, women etc. They can go wherever they want on holidays or any other day of the week and do not have to worry about their future because their income is so good that even after retiring they will live well. Famous people are known everywhere.
They are invited to the best parties and meet other celebrities. Now the disadvantages of being a famous person are they have no privacy and are always followed by paparazzi’s who usually take photos in most unexpected moment which can stop a person from enjoying the simple things in life such as going to a movie, shopping at a local supermarket or mall, quiet walks on the beach or even going out for a nice relaxing evening with friends and family. Famous people are often followed or harassed by phone, email or messages by fans or followers who cross the line and become obsessed and obsession can turn into threats, harm, or stalking.
Being a celebrity/famous person attracts too many fake friends meaning it attracts people who will only want to be a person friend because of his or her celebrity status and money. Me personally I enjoy living a normal lifestyle without the worries of people watching my every move or waiting for me to do something out the ordinary so that the tabloids and reporters can have my face on every newspaper, magazine, and news channel in the world. I enjoy my privacy and wouldn’t want my privacy or the privacy of my family or friends to be invaded so, if I ever had the chance to become famous, I would pass on that opportunity.
