Clothing refers to a covering for the human body that is worn. The wearing of clothing is exclusively a human characteristic and is a feature of nearly all human societies. The amount of and type of clothing worn depends on functional considerations and social considerations. A feature of nearly all human societies is the wearing of clothing or clothes, a category encompassing a wide variety of materials that cover the body. The primary purpose of clothing is functional, as a protection from the elements. Clothes enhance safety during activity by providing a barrier between the skin and the environment. Clothing also acts as hygienic barrier keeping toxins away from the body and limiting the transmissions of bacteria and viruses.
Outside of their purely functional purpose, clothes often play an important social and cultural role. Most societies develop norms about modesty, religious practices, behavioural appropriateness, social status and even political affiliations in which clothes play an important role. Finally, clothing functions as a form of adornment and an expression of personal taste or style. The purpose of this research is to find out the dressing preferences of the Female Freshman BSA students as to school wear, church wear, casual wear and formal wear and the benefits they get from choosing them. Specifically, some of them are not required to wear school uniform so this research will find out on how they apply their dressing preference.

The close-ended type questions were used as a research instrument in gathering data from the respondents. These questions were prepared by the researchers in a pre-determined order. Data-Gathering Procedure
The data were drawn from 108 female freshman students of College Of Accountancy of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines who answered the questionnaires/checklist provided by the researchers. The researchers give the respondents a set of questionnaires through random sampling by getting selected female freshman students from section 1-36. Statistical Treatment
Individual responses were tallied before they were put in tables for the statistical treatment. Percentage was utilized to quantify the data gathered for sub-problem 1-6. The formula for percentage is: P= f/N x 100
