Drivers Drivers come in many different types, and each has their own characteristics. When driving on the road, one can experience several different kinds of drivers which can be divided into three major categories: bad drivers, good drivers and ugly drivers. Most drivers want to reach their destination as fast as they can. However, not all drivers get there the same way. How they get there depends on which category they fall into. First of all, the bad drivers can be described as the morning mad-honker.
These drivers are only experienced in a busy town in the morning. They are characterized by hollering, blowing of the horn, and anger. It is believed that their anger is derived from their procrastination in the morning as they prepare for work. Because they typically run late, they tend to speed and often cut off other drivers in the mornings. They can be observed swerving in and out of lanes in order to get back the time they wasted. In bumper to bumper traffic, they often honk and yell, as if these noises will make the vehicles in front of them move faster.
People are not accepting of these kind of drivers because they believe that these bad drivers could cause a possible car accident. Secondly, in contrast to bad drivers are good drivers, who make up the majority of drivers. These drivers can be seen in all places. Because they always obey all the driving laws, they will get to their destination with the least amount of trouble. For example, a good driver is usually relaxed and constantly drives within the speed limit because he always manages to leave his house early to assure that his arrival at work will be on time. Most importantly, good drivers respect the traffic laws and their fellow drivers.
The Essay on Types of Drivers the Bad Reckless and Good Driver
Willie Mays Professor Mukalian English 101 LA 1 14 January 2013 Types of Drivers: The Bad, and Good Driver In America the rules of the road has changed due to the expansion of roads and the frequent travelers that uses them. There was a time during the baby boomer generation when they could travel and be free of accidents. But now the people that drive these vehicles look for speed and they have a ...
My father often cautions me that I must be more careful when driving with other than when I am driving by myself. One of the best drivers I have ever seen is my husband. Even though he has driven for many years, he has never been in an accident or received a ticket. Driving carefully, keeping a safe distance from the car in front, not becoming angered by careless drivers, and never running a red light are some of his driving habits which I am still learning. The third type of drivers is known as ugly drivers, which are the worst drivers on the road.
Ugly drivers drive faster than the speed limit with their car stereo blaring loud music and they are often yelling obscenities. In the 1980’s, these drivers, who have also been called gangster drivers, became popular and have remained until today. They are identified mostly by their vehicles and the way they sit in their vehicles. The gangster driver has the seats tilted all the way back and the steering wheel all the way up, so they can hardly see the road. They drive with one hand on the wheel and like to swing their vehicles when driving. These drivers are probably in the minority.
Another group of ugly drivers are those that can be identified by their stupidity while behind the wheel. These drivers seem to always have their turn signal on and never turn or change lanes when another car is right on the side of them. They have been known to refuse to turn right on a red light even when there is no oncoming traffic. They also have the bad habit of ignoring traffic lights when they turn green, holding up traffic so that they can continue to converse with one of their idiotic friends who is in another car in another lane.
When passing an accident, they always twist and turn their necks around so that they can clearly see what happened. Like the morning mad-honker, these drivers do not obey the laws of driving. They congest traffic by slowing down to see what has occurred and this often causes an accident itself. In conclusion, there are several different types of drivers on the road. Whether we are morning mad-honker drivers, good drivers, or ugly drivers, we must always comply strictly with traffic law and learn to share the roadway in order to get to our destination safely and quickly.
