e-Business Brainstorming Session Paper In order for us to define the best e-business strategies to be employed by hypothetical Prehistoric Computers, we need to analyze the future trends of such way of selling goods. E-business stands for buying and selling goods and services via computer networks. It has to be noted that e-commerce is comparatively new concept. Currently there are only 15% of sales are being made through Internet, yet this percentage is growing rapidly. The reasons for this are those many advantages that e-commerce offers to those companies that deploy it as one of its ways to reach customers. First of all, the low cost of operating on web market has to be mentioned. We talk of only couple thousands of dollars that are to be invested on establishing sales network.
But once company becomes active on web market, its business operating gets to be twice as profitable as company will automatically expand its marketplace to international markets along with reduced cost of processing and storing paper-based information. Itll also lower the cost for using telecommunications, because Internet services are much cheaper than other types of networks. Prehistoric Computers main task, just as any other commercial company, is to increase its profits by getting more and more customers to buy Prehistoric computers, while improving its own effectiveness as commercial enterprise. Yet, customers need to be attracted in one way or another. Deploying e-commerce practices is just the right answer for that it will allow customers a 24-hour access to company goods database and enable them to make transactions from any location. It will provide customers with many more choices, which will lead to Companys increased popularity.

Carrefour is global brand whose market edge is ideal. The supermarket chain is revered across the world. It is keeping this in mind that such a brand should always seek to have and maintain this success; key aspect would be to ensure that all their potential customers are reached wherever they are in the globe. One of the ways to ensure this is achieved would be the indulgence of information ...
Even if there werent any above-mentioned advantages of becoming e-operative, Prehistoric would still need to reconsider its approach to running commercial business if it wants to be able to remain competitive. The current e-business trends point out to an increasing number of employers responsible for advertising, within each company. It appears that if Prehistoric is to engage in e-commerce, then number of warehouse workers would have to be reduced and more people hired to develop Companys web selling strategies. The warehouse itself would have to be relocated much closer to the office, thus allowing much greater operating flexibility, which is crucial when it comes to gaining any success on web market. Prehistorics competitors are likely to pursue aggressive advertising policies, such as sending spam and tracking its customers personal information. In my opinion, Prehistoric Computers is ought to do the same, even though it might not be the most polite way of advertising. One thing is clear apparently there is a demand for refurnished computers, since the company was being able to make 5 million dollars in sales last year. Once we have established this fact, it appears obvious that the only way for the Prehistoric to be able to make twice as much next year is to begin offering its services on web-market. The main objective should be reaching as many people as possible with information about what Company sells, regardless of the ways of how such information is being delivered to potential customers.
The first stage is to get customer intrigued, the actual quality of provided services wont play much of a role at this point. Sometimes its enough to just send potential customer an effective spam message it doesnt matter whether well get a positive or negative reaction from the customer, as long as the message about Companys services is bright and unconventional enough to be remembered. Second stage is gaining customers trust, by providing fast and reliable services and allowing payments to be made via Internet with the mean of credit card or some other method. In the third stage, customers personal information is being collected for the purpose of targeted advertising. Operative and competitive effectiveness needs to be given a highest priority, if Prehistoric Computers is to succeed in rapidly expanding web market. Failing to achieve this will eminently cause the Company to suffer making less and less profits and finally go bankrupt, over its inability to adapt to realities of nowadays.
The Term Paper on Web Services part 1
Web Services. Web Services are not implemented in a monolithic way, but rather represent a collection of several related technologies. A new language was developed in the Internet back in 1999.
