How can you know what is amusing to others?j An astute American educator, Horace Mann, once stated, “A human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated.” Education is the key to opening the ever-binding chain lock that is life. With the U.S. economy in turmoil, a high school diploma will not suffice to gain entry into the competitive workforce. Education is the guiding light to achieve one’s true potential. Therefore, I wish to continue my education throughout college and obtain my higher order degrees. the victim’s nervous system. As a young boy still maturing, I was forced to take care of my ailing mother alone. Throughout this turbulent time, I still managed to focus my attention on achieving my goals in school.
My arduous family experiences motivate me to achieve academic excellence in school. At a very young age, I saw my mother struggle to survive, yet she still made sure that I was well taken care of. As I have grown, I have noticed a depletion in the amount of positive African American male role models in our community. Several of our males are either missing, in prison, or irresponsible, negative role models for our youth. With this stated, I will become a positive, strong male educator.
