When I look into Indian education system, I feel that it is not the whole and sole responsible for our children being not so creative. I can say this because, if it is the only reason then there wouldn’t be many great minds of our country who are shinning with bright colors throughout the world. There are many other reasons which hold back the thoughts and freedom of the young generation and force to limit their creativity. Some of them are privatization of schools, parents and the society itself. The most reputed educational institutes of India are IITs, NITs, IIMs, and so on are working under government.
If I’m not wrong, many CEOs, managers of most reputed companies are from these institutes itself. The problem arises where private schools and educational institutions have started running, and this system is one of the major reasons for so called “killing creativity in Indian children”. The schools these days are so pathetic that they make their children study for 8-9 hours pressurizing them to get state rankers, making profits out of it. Nearly 70% of schools aren’t providing the minimum requirements like having play grounds, time for extracurricular activities and so on.
This situation requires serious concern because, such activities help children to develop many valuable skills, provides the ability to see things differently, give them chance to explore their strengths and make their career options all by themselves. Moreover, I can even say that parents are also equally responsible along with privatized Institutions because, they won’t let children take their own decisions. The entire career path is well decided before hand and the poor child has to walk on it without his will and desire. After hectic study schedule in schools, they make their children go to tuitions, coaching centers.

Spanking could also make children to be abusive to others. And moreover, spanking would make children not to love their parents. Therefore, parents should not spank their children. Spanking should not be ...
The children with all these mess going on in their everyday life cannot find any platform to put their creative thoughts. When they grow up and actually find suitable environment to put their minds to function, they fail and it is obvious. Even in some rare cases where a child finds in where he can put his thoughts in a pattern and finds that path suited for him, people around him are ever-ready to low his confidence levels. I even blame the society and the reason behind this is, when someone builds courage and tries to do something different with his life there will be discouragement all around.
All the relatives, friends and neighbors are indirectly responsible for not letting the children pursue their dreams. After all these obstacles, there are great people in our country who flew into the sky, shinning like bright stars and set bench marks for all of us to achieve. So concluding this topic of “Educational system killing creativity in Indian children” I personally feel that all these shouldn’t be reasons for someone to achieve greater heights. They have to take these difficulties as a challenge and make every opportunity useful turning it a stepping stone.
