Protesters from a variety of socio-economic and religious backgrounds demanded the overthrow of the regime of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Despite being predominantly peaceful in nature, the revolution was not without violent clashes between security forces and protesters.
In the salve time African American protest the freedom they should get, and protesters will get kill or brought to jail. In this essay I will tell about how the people in Egypt were same as Frederick’s Douglas, what Frederick’s will do and what he might warn them about achieve their goals. Many Egyptians, or at least those in major cities, appear to be worried that their country might follow the path of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, in which Islamic leaders cite holy writ for secular authority more than they do public polls or election results.
The current protests show Egyptians trust democracy itself but they want more checks and balances on the power of elected leaders. Distrust is built into any democracy as a way to prevent the abuse of power by a few even if the system itself requires public trust. This is why people want to protest because they want freedom like back in slavery in US and sometime the people who against the government they get throw to jail or get kill.
If Frederick’s Douglas was there he would’ve make a speech gather all the people whos want freedom and go protest , ask USA to help them to get freedom and let the word know how bad they want it. If not they probably want to start a war. Doing those time people protest throughout days and nights they want to bring down the regime because they want to get out of the governments control. And those brave people really make influence to the whole world. I believe that some say they will the freedom they want to be.
