“Elucidating Educational Movie”
This movie is not only entertainment as what my title says, it is also educational for this film is inspirational and uplifting. It also wants us to realize that in education lies reasoning, the power, and the will to change the history. That learning lies not just in knowledge but also in applying that knowledge to better yourself, your society and humanities. In my own point of view this film portrays how powerful the words are. According to the poem “And What are Words” by Gemino Abad he defined words as an initials of his soul that keeps us together which denotes the significance of the words in our life.
In the turning point of the film when their dream comes to reality, to debate in a white school, the Harvard University they realized the power they have to change the mindset of the people and the influence they have, to bring a positive change across the nation. There are many lessons that are woven in this film but what main message was through hardwork and education you can make a lasting difference. Denzel Washington, Forest Whitaker, Nate Parker, Jurnee Smollett, Denzel Whitaker, and Kimberly Elise are all stunningly good. They really portray the characters as it would be and I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out that they are Oscar awardees. Especially impressive are Jurnee, Nate, and little Denzel’s oratory skills. They debate with such elegance and conviction, fully taking on the essence of the characters they are playing.

All in all, this is a must seen movie, for it is lively and thought provoking. The ending is really magnificent and my only critic was maybe it is not appropriate for kids for there are scenes which shows the youth engaging in a Pre marital sex.
