Energy Resource Plan Non-renewable energy + Renewable energy = energy saved, environment saved The formula above is our objective and we are being challenged as to what contribution we can make to environmental safety as well as to energy conservation. It is our moral obligation to act now being a priority to Earths deteriorating condition due to global warming. The petroleum industry is one of the major contributors to pollution, until today they are yet to process a totally embraceable fuel that does not emit noxious fumes and at the same time an economically stable energy source. It is to this instance that a proposal is needed to be brought-in to address these issues, soon drilling of fossil fuels or the so called non-renewable energy (energy which cannot be replenish in short period) will start to deteriorate and soon, productions will dwindle and sources will be harder to find. The proposal to use an adulterated or diluted mixture of petroleum products mixed with renewable energy source if materialize, will somehow reduce air toxicity and energy consumption. And it may be of the same quality and performance as what the present petroleum products has.
Undoubtedly the present petroleum products out of fossil fuels are still the most in-demand, since todays technology is primarily designed for it, because of this, the energy pie for non-renewable and renewable energy remains at 90/10 respectively and expected to stay there for the next 25 years. Ventures had been underway decades ago having foreseen the problematic events of today and experiments were made for this purpose. As you are aware, renewable energy are those we naturally find from water, heat, wind, sun and biomass or vegetation which are converted into energy to produce power. Research and experiments would show that some agricultural products can be extracted with chemicals and the by-product can be used as fuels; although it will not be of the same quality as that of the present petroleum product. The experiments on biomass which uses a mix of petroleum products plus other renewable resources at a considerable proportion will reduce not only toxic emission but also consumption. It is cost effective though it needs to produce new machines to cater this new fuel but would somehow bolster its proportion on the energy pie. The advantages of this mixture ought to be introduced are: 1) It is environment friendly due to its low toxic emission; 2) It is economical because it burns slower than the original petroleum and, 3) The quality and performance is as effective as that of any petroleum products.
The Essay on The Use Of Ethanol As An Alternative Fuel Source
... petroleum, though the majority of ethanol is produced by fermentation. It is considered an alternative fuel source as it is regarded to be renewable ... is less than petrol. Ethanol produces about 34% less energy in cars meaning that for every kilometre travelled by a ... It is a by product of oil, so is non renewable. It is currently supported as an alternative fuel by government conversion subsidies. ...
The government, in aide of this, is willing to fund and design automobiles and machines suitable for such, it will support this venture for the benefit it would bring not only to environment but to economy. However, it is also vital that energy conservation campaigns be pursued, the clean, maintain, sustain attitude towards machineries and appliances is still the most effective energy saver. In conclusion, it is essential that we make our moves now to address the present energy crisis and environmental hazards. Today, the major diseases that are acquired are mostly airborne while energy sources are starting to get scarce and God know how long it can supply human lavishness and the multiplicity of population. Lets start to be worried for the future, With energy so wasted, soon well all be busted, act now and save it, so tomorrow can still have it. The Essay on The Pros and Cons of Different Energy Sources
They are an important source of energy that we have come to rely on, however, these days there many discussions have been taking place concerning their usage and the impact they play on the environment. As such, I will now list the pros and cons of fossil fuels. The pros of fossil fuels are as follows: 1) One of the advantages of fossil fuels is their existence as high efficiency sources of ...
