Describe the procedure to follow if you want to raise a grievance at work You should first discuss the grievance with your person in charge or manager. This should be done in confidence with all of the details being discussed so that action can be taken if they feel this is necessary. If your superior is not able to resolve the grievance, then it will be referred either verbally or in writing to the home owner. If you feel uncomfortable going through any of the stages alone you have the right to have another person with you at any stage of the procedure. Explain the agreed ways of working with your employer in relation to the following areas. Data protection – No data or personal information is to be passed on or given out to anyone without the client or the clients next of kin consent.
