Renaissance was a period in European history in the 14th century in Italy
primarily in the northern big cities like Florence, Venice and Rome. It was the end of
the middle ages and the beginning of the modern times. Renaissance means re-birth and
this word represent the birth of a more liberal and humanistic period which does not
mean that the culture became all human and out of religion. This means that we start to

The high Middle Ages feudalism declined and this was definitely for better:
urbanization-growth of towns and cities, banking and business developments were a
result of this decline.
I also want to ad that the Early Modern Europe was very important in what
western Civilization is today, because of its progress, expansion of knowledge and
Individualism. This lead to the conclusion that the renaissance made a big change by
becoming humanistic but still very religious and individuals were more interested in
human creation and greatness.
