Dear Jordan,
Hey, this is your roommate. You remember my last trip to Vegas a week ago? Yeah, well, I kind of got in over my head a little bit. I swear to you Jordan. I was up $500 at the blackjack table. Then out of nowhere I was losing all of my money. I had to hitchhike back Lubbock man. So, I am simply asking you for a mere $300 to get me back on my feet for the semester. I’m getting a job as soon as I can, and I’m going to work at least twenty hours a week. So I should be able to have the money back to you in no time. I just need it to pay my fraternity dues and get back into the game man. You know I would do the same thing for you if you ever needed it. I really do appreciate your friendship and you have become one of my best friends over the weeks. I am still not sure as to where it is that I would like to work though. I guess I’ll just work wherever they hire me. Because I need to get the money back to you as soon as possible. I take loans very seriously, especially when the money is one of my best friend’s. I’m going to the mall this weekend to look for a job. They are always hiring at the mall. So it should be every easy for me to get one there. I was really hoping to be able to get a job at sunglass hut. That way I could hook both of us up with some awesome deals on good sunglasses. Cause you know girls love guys in a nice pair of Oakley sunglasses.
In my growing years of maturity in college, I have learned that friends need to be there for each other. Not just being there in body, but also being there for one another in mind. I do feel that you have become one of my better friends since we have lived together last semester. And I just want to thank you for our friendship. But, enough of the cheese man. I’ll talk to you more about the money tomorrow when you get back from your trip. Thanks again bro.
The Essay on Man Sized Job Point Of View
Man-Sized Job was written by Sharlot Hall (1870-1943). It is a poem that defines a womans work from a mans point of view. Poems like this were uncommon in the late 1800 s early 1900 s, especially if women wrote them. The two aspects of this poem that I would like to analyze are the vocabulary used and the male chauvinistic point-of-view. If it werent for these two exaggerated aspects, the poem ...
Dear Mom & Dad,
Hey guys, how have you been? It’s Ryan. I really am enjoying my time here at Texas Tech. I’m learning a lot about how to live my life. I wish I could say that I was becoming more educated, but it’s just hard for me to find any time to study. But I am working on my study habits, so hopefully things will get better. Say? Do you remember that trip I took to the International Collegiate Spelling Bee a couple of weeks ago? Turns out that I didn’t have enough money for gas in order for me to drive back. So I had to borrow $300 from a friend I made up there. He loaned it to me, but now I just need to pay him back. I was hoping that you could send me the money so I can go ahead and get him paid back. I’ll work it off for you over the summer dad. I know you don’t want me to work while I’m going to school, but I feel that I really do function better when my plate is full. And this way I’d be able to pay you and mom back much sooner and I wouldn’t feel pressured with my summer to pay you back. You know I like to spend my summers relaxing and just hanging out with my friends. So I think that me getting a job right now would help me a lot. I really do need the money right now. And like I said earlier, I do function better when I am busy. I was thinking about getting a job at Sunglass Hut, that’d be pretty cool right dad? I’d be able to get you some good deals on sunglasses.
But other than that, your son is doing great and having the time of his life in college. I am also really enjoying the fraternity life, so many parties and so many girls. I am probably having the greatest time of my life here at Tech. Minus the fact that I’m constantly short on cash. But like I said, I plan on getting a job within the next two weeks to give me some spending money. Oh, I found this really nice music shop here dad. I went in there the other day and saw the nicest acoustic guitar in the world. And my birthday is coming up pretty soon, so hint hint. It’s a Martin HD-28, I fell in love with it as soon as I played the first note. But you both know how I feel about music. And I also understand that asking for a guitar right now is kind of inappropriate, but no harm in trying right? And I completely understand if that isn’t feasible right now. Classes have been good here too, I’m going a lot more this semester. I still don’t know if Texas Tech is the right place for me or not. I am still trying to decide. I have really been looking into the idea of going to Boston next year and try to pursue a music career there. The Berklee School of Music there is amazing and has provided many musicians with the skill they need to succeed in the music business. So we’ll see what happens with that. But I need to get going, I have a study group meeting over in the library I have to get to. We’re studying for a big psychology test tomorrow. I’ll call you guys later on in the week. I miss you, thanks. Love you, Bye.
Most Common Bad Study Habits
This section should be pre-empted by noting that everyone has a different study habit. It is important to find your personal best way to study, as you may hate music, while others love it. The following list is a generalization of all problems that students have encountered while studying. Some may apply to you, while others not. Either way, we have provided an explanation and “fix” to ...

Subject:Loan
I am writing to you asking if I could receive a loan from you. The loan will be for $300. I am getting a job pretty soon, but because I am currently enrolled at Texas Tech University it might take a little longer for me to find an employer that would be willing to work with my school schedule. And after all, school does come first. It is the reason why I’m here.
I am still unsure as to where I might be applying for a job. I am interested in music and would love to work for a music store somewhere in town. I have a lot of experience working with music, I was employed at Mars Music in San Antonio Texas. So I do not think that me obtaining a job at a local music store will be too difficult.
I do look forward to hearing from you and making arrangements on my loan. Thank you.
