Fear is in every living organism, be it animal or human there is always an acute amount of fear. I have never known anyone not to have this, or any inner conflicting emotions. It is how we possess it, hold it close to our heart, wrap it in an iron clad sheath, and protect it from the outside world that makes us all different. No one can explain why we do this, they say it is because of our upbringing. I however, believe that the secretive fear that so many hold close is from lack of something. Be it love, support, or outcaste beyond one’s imagination.
To have complete and total resolve on such a matter, can only be obtained by one’s ability to let go, and forget the past. Although it may seem hard or improbable there are many that have been able to let go of past experiences, be it emotional, or physical. It is not every day that you are able to walk down a street and see a person and say to yourself, that that person has endured a well-rounded childhood. People are nothing but walls themselves, protecting themselves from what lies beyond their reach. Yet there are the more daring type that do extend their hands over the wall in hopes that eventually one else will grasp it. I have come to find that if you wait long enough someone will come along, and dry up your pool of tears that you have cried in desperation. They warm the heart and soul, not only because of the love that they give, but b/c they are there, supporting your fragile mind set, and yet slowly deceiving the mind. By deceive I mean, the slow wearing down of the iron that incases your heart, releasing the unused, inexperienced organ, that you have worked so hard to protect.
The Essay on You are now entering the human heart
... “All snakes were creatures to kill, to be protected from, alike the rattler, the copperhead, king snake, grass ... the human heart”, written by Janet Frame is a short story focused on the fear of something ... the title “You are now entering the human heart” fits well to story, because at first the ... exhibition named “You are now entering the human heart”, but he ends seeing something truly different, but ...
It is unknown to the protector what is occurring b/c they see it as something that makes them happy, and one does not shut themselves up from the feeling of acceptance, desire, or love, it is the complete opposite. Once the iron has worn off, melted away or what have you, the fear slowly vanishes, not completely, for one never forgets what it is to be an outcast, yet the feeling of acceptance is never forgotten either. The person that has released such a feeling is one that is held to the highest regard and extremely close. The feeling that this person has giving to you can not be expressed in words, and the closest word that can be related to this feeling is love. A love that is never ending and complete. Upon the joining of such two individuals there is a connection unlike any other, one that has the most feeling of passion and desire ever thought out by the human mind. Even if the joining were to become unsealed each individual is aware of the limitations that they must endure, and is melancholy about the rules, however unfortunate they may be. Alas, one knows that an unbroken seal is not the end, for love never fades from the one that has given them the world.
